I can watch it but at the same time my mind tends to wander a lot when viewing. Of course Beast Machines did introduce one of the biggest abominations of the TF world and that is Nightscream. As soon as he was introduced I kept hoping he would die every second of every episode he was on the screen. Quote:

Collection Count: 43 (counting Mini-cons) Latest figure: Cybertron Galvatron | I watched Beast Machines through. Now at first, I was the one who thought Beast Machines was a total crapfest and personally at first thought it was the WORST TF series ever. That was when I actually decided to watch the entire series through....
I was pleasently surprised. While I don't like the concept of "morphing from animal to robot mode", I do like the animations and textures for the series. The writing is decent, but I still liked Beast Wars a lot more. The thing I hated was the end, is where Cybertron becomes a techno organic.
Beast Machines in my opinion is only better than Headmasters, and is much better than almost anything from Energon. |

Beast Wars was way better. Everbody had good feet. | The saddest part is that the toy actually had nice big stable feet, but the tiptoe look of the show made everyone want to point the toes on the toy. It's still one of the most feminine-looking and stably-standing Blackarachnia toys, and people want to undo it.
Come to think of it, Beast Machines visual designers really had a thing against 'standard' feet. Blackarachnia's legs just came to points. Rattrap had wheels, Cheetor had the uber-digitigrade legs, and Strika was the only Vehicon with anything close to regular feet (and she used them to glide or skate more than walk most times)
Of course, that's what made Vehicons kewl. How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end |

News Credits: 1 | Cheetor's design was my favourite. He was less 'techno-organic' and more technological and organic. He was the only one who really sold the idea of blend mechanics/organics with clearly mechanical joints and stuff in both modes, while also having equal amount of flesh and fuzz.
Obsidian is, and will always be, one of the best helicopter TF designs. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

And I didn't like that the transformations didn't make any sense. Even so, I like the character development in the show, especially Cheetor's maturation.
My favorite thing about Beast Machines is Obsidian and Stryka. They were awesome! Too bad their toys were crap and they were introduced so late into the series. |
