Weird designs asside I have hope for the new series. I think it will have the best writing we have ever seen.

I think it will have the best writing we have ever seen. | It's going to have to do a lot better with what its currently aimed to be at a super hero type theme to beat Beast Wars. BW probably has the best writing of any series so far imo The new animated series will be aimed at the younger audience, we're not even sure how death will be treated. I doubt we'll get another death as cool as Dinobot's.
But on the upside, I am quite optimistic about the show. I don't mind the designs too much.

I really like a fair few of the designs (and there are very few I outright dislike). Only things I really don't like at the moment are:
1) Superhero plot-line thing...
2) The horrific Tara Strong voiced girl...THING (much as I like Tara, not even she can save this character)
3) The transformations (watching the clip from SDCC...what is with body parts like..popping out of things?)
4) Bumblebee's voice (WHY?!?!?!?)
