    Bit off subject, but I use wiki to look up medical stuff. Like disease symptoms, conditions, treatments and such.

    I really cant think of a better place to look that info up. Would there be a better spot? Google doesn't count.

    Some people really hate Wikipedia. Wikipedia has articles about its own reliability, people. And besides, everyone knows (or should know) that if you're seriously researching something, encyclopedias are nothing more than a starting point. And furthermore, all sources should be questioned and challenged - not just Wikipedia.

    As for medical information, there are websites like WebMD, but in my opinion, sometimes it's just better to consult with someone in medicine. Many HMOs now have phone numbers you can call to consult with a nurse at no cost.
