Has anyone found any theater sized posters at retail? Not the autobots and Decepticon posters at walmart. Those are something like 23x35, I want at least a 27x40 sized actual movie poster, preferably the 2 with just Prime and Meg's faces. Only thing I've managed to find are mini posters at Hot Topic and those just are NOT going to cut it.
A LOT of websites have the double sided movie posters i think and they run about 45 dollars, a little steep for a big piece of paper, but theyre official and definately something to get. I think I'm going to order a couple different movie ones. Look in the TF movie threads and look at the Movie Poster thread i posted. It's a pretty neat poster I'm trying to get.
the best i found are the mini's,of which i got the optimus free at hollywood theatre.i want the prime and megatron myself. here's an idea,if all else fails:have a copy shop enlarge the mini's if all you want is to get them bigger.
I have one of the double sided theatric posters (with Prime, BB, and Megs on it) yay for having connections at the theater and not having to shell out 50 bucks for it!
If you've got a Suncoast, Sam Goody, or Media Play near you, I'd check there. I haven't seen any there, but those stores usually carry a selection of recent movie posters.
I think you will have to specifically order those online ... I dont think retail stores get the posters that end up in the theatres..... I ordered mine from EBay. Pretty cheap actually .... I got the Megatron 'Destroy' and the Optimus 'Protect' for $6.95 a piece.... with shipping it came to less than $20. Good deal IMO.
I won a Double sided Megs poster at the 9:00 showing of the movie on the 2nd... It was seriously right off the wall...
are those the ones that hasbro gave away at the botcon awards party? if so i have both. not the actual double sided posters, but the protect and destroy posters you can put together for one big one?
