    I always saw his helmet as if it was his trigger. I know that is not that way on the G1 toy, but maybe the animators thought about that as well.

    Megatron is sporting the bowl cut often worn by Amish (like in King Pin)...he is just part of the NON pacifist sect

    ....people are looking FAR too in to this. It's a helmet...it was just randomly designed that way...

    Most of the original TF designs especially heads and helmets were designed after samurai (sp?) Check some pics of old Japanese samurai helmets you will be sure to find Megs helmet there.

    Yes Abrogate, I think Megatron DOES have more of a Mop Top...perhaps he is the mythical and violently frustrated 5th Beatle.

    I think some people are missing the entire purpose of the post, ie. Monday morning, people working, something random, and potentially funny to discuss. Personally, as a kid, I always likened Megatron's helmet as that of He-Man's hair.
