I'll add this to what I said earlier. If they do decide to keep it around on some figures that's cool, but I hope that they improve upon it significantly. The figures that I do have a problem with the feature happen to be figures that have a lot of QC issues when it comes to the Automorph gimmick (ie: Blackout and Brawl). I really don't like the idea of having to crack open a TF just to realign a gimmick that should have been aligned properly to begin with.

That and I'm totally underwhelmed by Leader Megatron's 'advanced automorph' features. Too much going on at once and too fiddly when you're trying to get him back to robot mode...

I bought Blackout (who has the automorph technology).

So far, the only purpose I can see it has is to hold him together.

Other then that, it makes it slightly harder to transform him, seeing as some parts move when you're not ready for them.

They should have put a spring-loaded extension on the panels that form the sides of his torso (so they can extend out).

I'm worried that one day when moving those panels to put his arms (or the sides of the helicopter) into position that I'll break them off accidentally.
