Y'know, as much as a bulk of the people on here are going to rag on me, Transformers: Animated was the type of series for which I was hoping. Looks like we got it! :D

Honestly, I think it'd be neat to get - even if it was like 6-8 episodes - an anime Transformers series produced at the same level of quality devoted to Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Here & There, Then & Now, etc. Something just ridulously pretty and well-animated, with a plotline that focused on the struggle between Optimus Prime and Megatron - both internal and external.

Definitely a sequel to Beast Machines, preferably focusing on the politics of rebuilding their world post-Vehicon occupation, showing us how they will deal with their new technorganic bodies/environment, and providing a little insight into the Predacon perspective. Either that, or a prequel (mini?)series dealing with what happened on Cybertron prior to and during Megatron's takeover.

I'd just like to see new series or one-shot vids/movies that fill in some of the available 'gaps' in the G1-BW-BM continuity(s). Tell stories of how Cybertron transitioned from Bots/Cons to Maxs/Preds. Let us know what happened between 1986 and 2005. Show off more of what goes down on Cybertron in the BW times. the "Obsidian's Lament" photocomic shows there's plenty of fertile story ground post-Beast-Machines as well.

I would make a whole new series but I would keep the original G1 character looks and maybe add a few more new characters.

A Series after "Rebirth" featuring classic figures. Then a series explaining the Maximal, Predacon Origins.

Yeah, like Single Element said, I want Hasbro to bring back the idea of Transtech. I want to see what happens next after Beast Machines.

Beast Wars was in my opinion the absolute best Transformers series that was created. (G1 fans can bitch at me all they want about this but it is true). Beast Wars had the best storyline, and voice acting. If you really watch Beast Wars and Machines, you will notice that the voice acting actually matches the mouth movements for the most part. The TF series out now (Armada, Energon, Cybertron), the mouths flap when there is no talking. The dialouge is ridiculous and sounds very corny, and the series have dumb gimmicks (Minicons reminds me of fuckin Pokemon, Energon was just plain shit, and Cybertron got extremely boring).

I just wish Mainframe would take back the Transformers series because the joint effort of Hasbro and Takara was a disaster. Hasbro let Takara do all the work of the animation and storyline (which weren't good to begin with) and the Hasbro rushed idiotic dialog that made no sense into the mouth movements.

I had high hopes for Transformers Animated at first because it was going to be created in North America, but after seeing the animation, it is a joke. I was really looking forward to another CGI based TF show (which would look utterly stunning with the graphics of today. I mean honestly Beast Wars looks amazing from about in the early 1990's).

I guess the only Transformers I'm going to be looking forward to is the sequels to the movies, because I thought the new one was amazing. I will definately not be watching this new TF Animated.

--On a side note, pardon some of this if it doesn't really make sense with wording. It's one AM and I'm tired.

I want an "adult" show, not where the good guys always win and the bad guys have a dumb mission. I want it to have the bad guys winning about half of the time, and the sometimes a good guy dies to win. I want a dark, sad story, not "yes, another day saved with no scratches". If they could, I want most of the main characters to die, give it a sentimental story instead of "okay, this new series has new toys, so its good".

I'd redo G1 as I saw fit. Get rid of everything I hate, and I add elements I think are kick ass. Still have the Ark and the Nemesis crashland on earth eons ago. 400000 years ago though, I never liked the near immortality of TF's. Or make Headmasters follow the Japanese pattern. Where a mini-con (instead of a little Bot/Con) builds a transforming armoured battlesuit to better fight the great war. Yes I'd stick mini-cons into G1. Why, cause I like mini-cons. I'd add a few more characters to the initital Decepticon line-up. Specifically Demolisher, Bludegon, Runamuck, and Runabout. Demolisher would have the added title of Ground commander, with the other three being his direct subordinates. I'd give the constructicons 1 origin that ties together the original 2-3.

I'd just say do something set between G1 and BW covering the end of the war and the signing of pax cybertronia. G1 prime on screen again would be nice. Not a new G1 style prime just the origina 84 prime (yes he'd get upgraded a few eps in) but seeing the old G1 characters in more serious roles would be great.

More importantly keep the writers of Cybertron/GF far FAR away from it.

Use G1 Characters with a new story more aimed at adults, no humans, weirdly drawn Optimus, or looking like a scrap heap features!

You know what I really want to see and I forgot to add, more visible battle damage after a battle. In Beast Wars, when the TF's got shot up, they looked like they'd been slagged. Unlike the cartoons now where serious injuries are considered a few tiny hairline cracks and some electric static on the body. Hell in Beast Wars, when they got shot and it wasn't serious, it even left a scorch mark on the body.

I guess I just want a fully CGI Transformers series with no humans. I don't care if it is a new generation or just a G1 redo with better plots. Also, I want the Beast Wars writers and Mainframe to take it on again. Too bad we aren't getting that. It would be an amazing TF show.

I'd do exactly what Animated is doing, but make it a bit more like the IDW comics and through in some more BW characters.

Now this is a good idea. Though I don't know that I'd make it Optimus + Megs focused. But with the success of the movie, and maybe after the live-action trilogy has played out, perhaps they could funnel some funding into direct to video releases that look at off-shoot branches. Give me a six episode OVA that takes on another group of Transformers that runs an off-planet prison for robots caught committing crimes on Cybertron or some other equally ridiculous sounding side-story. Something that most fans would never think of in a million years. Optimus Prime and Megatron have been covered over and over. But with a society like Cybertron, there are bound to be explorers, prisons, scientists, you name it, that we've never seen before. Tell some of those stories.

As for the main series? I think what we've got coming looks interesting. It'll certainly be different from the last few series, and in this case, change is probably going to be good. I know I'll be looking forward to it. Hopefully they'll release it on DVD in season sets. No more gap-filled individual releases, please.
