Well gee... "Who would you rather follow? Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Stalin, or Pol Pot?"

    lol - true, that.

    But yeah, I'll play.

G1 Megatron. Despite the fact that he was overall ineffective with his win / loss record, you know where he was coming from.

Following that, Scorponok (G1, of course). When Zarak's mind had irrevocably over-written Scorponok's, he became an intriguing and very human Transformer (well, duh). He wasn't so one-dimensional as compared to the other leaders.

G2 Megatron from the Marvel comics. He was one of the more ruthless yet effective Decepticon leaders ever, showing clout and cunning unlike any other incarnation of G1 Megatron. He was even smart enough to swallow his pride and work together with the Autobots side by side.

Either that or Armada Megatron, at least he was nice to his troops.

I would follow Megatron, at least until he ended up discovered as a clinically insane Galvatron. Depending on which continuity you follow, Megatron was either created as the greatest and most competent Decepticon leader, or else he actually was the original Decepticon. However, as I stated, if he showed up as Galvy with an f-ed up neural processor, I would probably get as close to shockwave (if he survived the Unicron battle miraculously) as possible to be seen as an essential part of whatever grand plan he had at the time.

SHOCKWAVE - If he sent you into a hail of Autobot plasma to be massacred, at least you knew he had a logical reason for it and wasn't just nuts.

Shockwave. He makes reasonable plans and tries to carry them out. I think he is the only sane one in the bunch.

Shockwave, he's the Dick Cheney of the Decepticons. Anyone who'll shoot their friend in the face and say oops, that's my leader.

I think Bludgeon would be a good one to follow as he accomplished a lot in a short time, so he had good leadership skills by my standards, but he wasnt strong enough to take on the top tier guys, so I wouldnt have much faith in him protecting us.

None of the above. Not one of them is trust worthy.
