More accuratly, which TF's have the most useless ALT-modes/Abilities would have been a better title.
Soundwave is usefull for his cassets and knowledge of infiltration. Perceptor is brilliant and Computron is a genius. However, dudes that turn into Tape decks, Microscopes and giant robots that ponder, not so useful.
Wheelie should have been higher on the list. I also agree with his Astrotrian comment, pending Astrotrain ever uses tracks, half the time he was in train mode he was on the ground.  For that matter, he hardly ever turned into train mode.  XBL GT: SPLITTLIP

But other than that, leave Soundwave and Perceptor alone. Those two were kick ass. Whoever wrote this article must have forgotten that cassette tapes were in style and a microscope was cool to those who watched the series. What i am stunned is that they pick on Soundwave but not on Blaster... If you are going to bitch about how useless cassette players are, then please pick on Blaster
