When the news first came out it sounded like it was just the 6" Titaniums that were being cancelled. However, the Hasbro panel made a blanket statement that it was the entire line. Does this include the 3"?

My guess is yes given the way they seemed to be talking about the various lines. Besides, I suspect the 3" Titaniums are being replaced by the Robot Heroes line.

I just want to know which of the 5 announced 6-inchers we'll be getting. WW Prowl seems like a definite go, while WW Grimlock is still a maybe-leaning-more-towards-yes. You'd think that Soundblaster, WW Skywarp, and Primal Prime - all of which are redecos of previous molds - would be more likely than WW Grimlock (who needs a brand new mold).

I think it was stated that Prowl and Grimlock would be the last, and possibly Soundblaster. They said Skywarp was not being released.

From what we were told, anything in the case was good to go, already made PLUS WWI Prowl and Grimlock. Now how the stores handle it is another question.

I honestly hope it doesn't include the 3 inch line. The bigger Star Wars Titaniums have been pretty much discontinued like the 6" TFs, but stores are still restocking the mini-SW ships regularly. We know we're at least getting five more movie 3 inchers. After that we can only hope they'll put out the overly belated Soundwave/Nemesis Prime and Sunstreaker/Cliffjumper assortments. Then maybe they can go from there with the rest of the other 3 inchers on the pamphlet.

Yes, and that has left me very disappointed. We had Sunstorm, but not Skywarp. That just doesn't make sense.....

I think that these 4 are the last 6"!

    Soundblaster w/ Ravage (g1)
    Primal Prime (bm)
    Grimlock (wwi)
    Prowl (wwi)

But these 3" are very overdue. So are they still going to release them?

    Cliffjumper (g1)
    Sunstreaker (alt)

In all of this I think some people have lost the point.

Not just TF Titaniums were cancelled. The entire Titanium lineup was cancelled. This includes Marvel, Transformers and the initial plans for a GI Joe series of Titaniums.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, good riddance. Almost every mold in the line, even the "good" ones, had some fatal flaw (like Rodimus' chest-gap, Magnus' shoulders, or Fallen's floppy treads). The quality control was mediocre, the distribution poor. They were more expensive than a comparably-sized mainline figure, and yet had inferior engineering. All you were paying for was the metal and the "collectability."

As for the 3-inchers.... those melty, squatty, awkwardly-posed little things don't hold a candle to the super-deformed awesomeness of the Robot Heroes line.

I'm sad to see Alternators go (though it had a healthy run) but I don't shed a tear for Titaniums. In a year filled with the continuing Movie line, the upcoming Animated line, and the continuation of Classics..... they are the weakest link.

I liked Titans. But with classics continuing the unused molds might end up there instead (at least Cosmos, Shocky and Acree would be nice. We don't need Bee/Jumper again in classics though). I'm just glad Prowl made the cut of ones coming out. I'll have to preorder him online though he'll be hard to find. I need to still get Magnus with armor too.

Seems a complete line of seekers - in any range - is once again out of reach. :(

Especially considering that Skywarp would just be a repaint. No new mold or retooling involved.

    3

I too wonder about the Soundwave, Cliffjumper, Sunstreaker, and I think there was one more 3 included, were they ever at retail, or not?

    I was wanting the Soundwave.

In all honesty, the classics line will be a much better fit for some of those designs as the classics have more play value. The only thing missing will be the WWI figures, but I'll live.

That was the highlight of the 6" Titaniums for me, having WW designs.
