Can I shut off the timer?!?!
I just bought the prime helmet today, and was appauled when I noticed that the stupid voice changer is only active for maybe 30 seconds or a minute at a time, then I have to push the button all over again.

Is there a way to turn off the timer? or perhaps a different setting? maybe the batteries are low?

Nope, it automatically times out on its own. Unless you want to break into the wiring, find the timer circuit, and build a work around.
