Does anyone know what's happening with the movie high end collectibles?
Diamond Select and Corgi/Master Replicas were supposed to come out with some busts and statues, right?
Got the Hasbro action figures ... but also looking for some movie exact statues for my shelf.  

Anybody have any idea when these things are due for release?

 

I do not think they are out yet, I think people will start finding them in the next month or so.

As much as i love the Hasbro figures - they don't replicate the sculpting nor the paintwork (the metallic finish) of the Transformers we see in the movie. There are elements of the action figures that look flat out plasticky.


Which is where the high end stuff comes in.
But its pretty frustrating that we're this close to the movie's release and we still have'nt seen any pics or real news of the statues and busts - so collectors really don't have an idea of what kind of budget they need to set aside for these items.

i remember a concept art pic of the Optimus Prime statue and bust (with the arm cannon) from Corgi/Master Replica toyfair exhibit. If they pull that off i'm definitely getting them.
