Also, come on people, was it really that hard to figure out it was another employee dragging him away from arguing with a customer? ;)

I think this thread is a little too much in love with Teh Ba$hing.

I though the Shortpacked ones about the search for Alt Prowl were hilarious. And Batman, cause y'know "Batman can make anything funny."

Shortpacked's hit and miss, but I still find it more entertaining than most other webcomics I peruse. VGCats is updated much less frequently than Shortpacked (supposedly once a week, but more like once every 2 weeks) and hasn't been funny in a very long time.

We get 3 to 5 Shortpacked comics a week which range from "meh" to "Hah!" If anything, it at least shows his dedication to his own comic if he's willing to update it that often.

It's not my favorite, but I find that, as far as webcomics go, its far more consistent than most.

What did you think of the new TMNT movie related ones DrSpengler? I thought most of them were amusing.

I liked those pretty good. Particularly the ones that were published at Toy News International. I've met pleanty of obsessive Donatello fangirls over at the Technodrome.com to realize he was pretty on the mark.

I agree with one of the more popular sentiments in this thread that the parodies are more entertaining than the toy store plotlines. However, one toy store plot I really liked was Ninja Rick's "quest". Any comic that takes the piss out of those annoying otaku Japanofile azn-wannabes is aces in my book.

    Unfortunately.

Honestly, I have yet to witness any of this jackassery that he is supposedly guilty of. Making fun of idiotic fanboys doesn't count, seeing as I have no sympathy towards the stupid.

Putting my $0.02 in, as a longtime Allspark reader, I think he can go a bit overboard in his sarcasm. I'll admit there's a small percentage of people who probably deserve it, but only because those people have consistently made nuisances of themselves.

In other cases, I think he's taken on an insulting, condescending tone with people where a simple, politely-worded correction would have sufficed. However, that's a problem with a number of people, NOT just Willis, and NOT confined to the Allspark. I would say a lot of people could stand to be nicer, not post every single insult that come to mind, or start being more liberal with the Ignore function, but that's just me.

Or I could, you know, use the search function and look back over a week or so. Cause that's what I did.

I was pretty much right. He has no tolerance towards the dim witted.

If he seems harsh to some, it's not surprising. I've seen several artists with that sort of attitude towards others. It usually comes from having to deal an unending wave of fools, all the time. That is all.

i dont give a damn what others think of what i find funny.

however, i find the length of this thread in regards to the topic, funny.

    "its not funny!"
    "is too!"
    "is not!"

hey, that couldve passed for a shortpacked script right there.

If you don't find this the funniest thing in the whole wide world, then you are dead inside, mister.
