Yeah at some places they can be complete jerks....I'm out of town and went to the TRU here and it was the worst experience I ever had at any store and there employees and even the manager wasnt much help.

we ask 2 people on the floor and both were no help all, they said thats all they got and walked away from us, which was ok all I found was One BB... So we go to the checkout to pay for my Softimus and we ask the 2 cashiers and one of them argue with me that no moive toys were out yet and I was telling them you have some on your shelf...So the other cashier ask the manager that was there and it seem like she was leaving and her response was sorry sir no moive figures are allowed on the shelves til june and then walk away and out the store.

So then the first cashier says to me " see there are no figures out yet, you'll have to wait till june" I then reply I'm form Halifax and have all the deluxes out for sell casue you can I then walk away , went and got BB off the shelf to show them. and all I got was the sorry sir cant do nothing the manager said.

It bull, I hate how you cant go to one store to the next and get "ZERO" help for people casue ther to lazy to do their jobs and give a shot about there job.

Actually, since the deluxes and protoforms share the same DPCI, the boxes are going to the floor. Leave the rest to clueless flow team members and boom, deluxes on the floor. In fact, I'm willing to bet that has something with them allowing the deluxes to be released early. Make it easier on one of their larger clients.

Most stores don't have internet access except for company e-mail and company intranets.

It really depends on the TRU. The TRU in Brooklyn is big and usually empty of employees that arent at the register. But the ones that are at the register, for the most part, know their shyt.

The TRU in Times Square has unfriendly, though knowledgable employees. I asked this dude about the Classics they had in stock and he gave me a breakdown of which were on the shelf and when. That was kinda cool. Target is where you will probably get more disgruntled and mean employees.

    Oh, and read junior's post.

Irrelevent since it's safe to say they do have access at home. It would only take the manager, or frankly, any employee 3 seconds out of their porn time to look up Hasbro's website. Then the next day the manager could call the district manager and get the ball rolling up the food chain.

The point is, it doesn't matter who you want to blame, it's a terrible way to run a store to just ignore anything customers say. There's no defending their policies or their attitudes. They will lose money. THAT is the bottom line.

again, they are NOT REQUIRED to sell movie toys right now. They can if they want, or they can stick to the plans they've had for months and put them out on june second.

if you refuse to accept this, thats your fault, not the store's.

it's just two weeks, and people need to chill out.

yeah. they dont have to "get the ball rolling up the food chain"

and its not a terrible way to run the store if you refuse to take commands on when to release product from customers.

First off, they are not ignoring the customers by sticking to their June 2nd set date. If you've ever RUN a retail store (not likely), you would know that you have to plan these moves weeks to months in advance and both the planners and floor plans more than likely come from the home office with both street dates and specific expecatations to how it has to be done. In TRU's case, they may have large promo pieces from Hasbro to use in their primary display, ala the Spiderman 3 setup. So please, if you have no clue what your typing, just move along.

I was in Kmart today and they had out the cyber stompers and fast action battlers

I would just say if its not out just be patient I know June2nd is still two weeks away but all you will get is greif from employees who aren't toy collectors and don't care

None of your trolling changes what I said. They will lose money because the product isn't out there when it could be. Just accept that fact.

After seeing these complaints come up again and again, I'm wishing Hasbro had never released that statement.

Heck, I'm wishing that they'd said, "We are upholding with the June 2nd release date, and all stores who sell the figures before the date will be severely penalized. Don't worry, everybody who wants these toys will have the same opportunity at the same time." Hasbro, keep it in mind for Transformers 2, ok?

Could be, based on Hasbro's sayings, yes. Could be based on their corporates sayings, who knows. I don't know about you, but in my parts the stock boys are pretty dumb. For example, the POTC3 stuff is all marked March 24, or something like that, and its just coming out on the shelves now.

I'd have to be trolling in order to knock it off. And you still do not get it. You posted there was no way to defend the actions of the employees. And I posted their defense. These decisions for floor moves, relays or resets (pick your name for them) is not made overnight. They are PLANNED well in advance. Changing these things takes time and money away from other items that are planned to sell a certain amount of units while they are placed in the prime floor space. That's the REALITY of business. Not your dream world.
