TF Heroes Speculation part 90

OK, since some sources say that the next series will use alot of the G1 names, here is my wishlist of characters/ figures. This is only for what we would like to see in the new show, it is not actual news, we have to wait till Botcon at the earliest.

Autobots
Ironhide (stands to reason, since he's in the movie)
Ratchet (ditto)
Jazz
Brawn
Cliffjumper
Mirage
Wheeljack
Trailbreaker

Decepticons
Shockwave
Soundwave
Skywarp (make him more of a assasin character, since he teleports, with a stealth fighter alt mode, with a sniper rifle and katana sword)
Thundercracker (wepon con, lots of missiles and guns, but smarter than Cybertron)
Bombshell
Kickback
Shrapnel
Venom
Chop Shop
Ransack
Barrage
(it's been years since we had the insecticons)

I hope you're right; I'd love to see a new take on the Insecticons (especially the Deluxe Insecticons).

I want Octane and Blitzwing. Real triple changers like we would've gotten in Classics. Shoehorn in the other "on the board" unmade classics like Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and so forth.

so, anyone think the designs will be a hybrid of the G1/ classics and the movie designs (Hasbro likes to carry over design styles for a couple lines, remember the BW Neo style of having some of the Beast mode look on the helmet area for some of our US TM2 figures)?

Well the cartoon takes place in the future. I think that there may be some off ball alt modes and transforming into made up cars.

I'd like to see somebody turn into an F-35 JSF if it's not -that- far in the future

For the 'Cons, we WILL have Megs and Starscream. It's just a given.

Me, I'd love to see a new Trailbreaker and Wheeljack. Make up for the former getting screwed in Binalternators, and the latter has always been a favorite of mine.
Feedback here! Criminals are HOT.

i've been thinking that IF Hasbro follows it's semi-standard release schedule, Heros shhould hit in January 08 (i think the movie stuff is gonna be like Classics, 6 months shelf life) so we actually are about due to see some protos.

My suspicions:
semi-Futuristic alt modes, but more "realistic" ones ala Cybertron
a different art style than the Unicron trilogy or the movie (the Next line after heroes will be more movie-informed), possibly a "kiddier" line, ala Armada (time to start capturing the next generation, since kids that started on Armada are probably "too old" for toys now)
more complex transformations that are executed more simply than the movie toys. does that make sense?

A "real" Ultra Magnus (as in a unique mold): he was on the cast list iirc.

Since it is supposed to be in the future, I guess the only "classics" we could possibly get would be G1 movie & season 3 stuff.

Well, seing as Micheal Bell tried out for "Prowl" and didn't get the part, I'm guessing Prowl's one of the characters.

Yes, but he'll be a futuristic car. That's not "classic", just homage.
