Ok, next question, who existed first-Primus of Vector Sigma? How does Vector sigma create life if the lifeforce of each transformer is primus' essence? Is Sigma has spark or something? Where did Vector Sigma come from?
No one knows. One of the many plot errors in G1. You can keep asking questions til you're blue in the face, but some just don't have definative answers.
Prime did say that the wisdom of the ages had been depleated, but it was up to everyone to fill it again with the wisdom they accumulated from that point on. Perhaps enough wisdom was accumulated to reactivate vector sigma.
Well in the Rebirth Optimus used the Matrix to bond with Vector Sigma, who was still up and running...so...yeah. Plothole 267,836,908 from G1
I always love those giant plot holes, the little plot holes, the plot holes you find in those deep plot holes. I always kinda took all of these as errors in Cybertronian history, because no one actually knows their origins in creation and all that mythical crap. It's the Quintessons or its Primus, its a gold skillet name Primacron, they'll never know and nor will the fans. But on subject, yeah, I didn't like the fact the Matrix had to be dipleated to destroy the hate plague. It just didn't make since to me that it should go empty after that and not when Rodimus used it on Unicron. Or was it that Vector Sigma didn't cease to exist and Prime sorta refilled the Matrix with the life giving computer sort of like the Holy Grail or somewhere in that since. Jeez, the Transformers are kinda blending with cultures

I tend to go with the Primus creation theory, so I think that Vector Sigma acts as a kind of interface with Primus. It is through Vector Sigma that Primus gives life to new TFs. So, Primus came first, and created V.S., for future TFs to use a tool of sorts. However, if you want to go with the Quintessons creation theory, you could argue that the Quintessons built Vector Sigma as a giant super computer to give personalities to the robots they built. However, they may have done their job a little too well, with V.S. gaining some type of sentience and passing that on to the robots who rebelled and became the TFs we all know and love. But like DaraRex2.0 said, "they'll never know and nor will the fans." Kinda nice actually. Lets you fill in the blanks as you see fit.
I think each of us tend to have our own "Mythology" hodgepodged together from what we've gotten. Personally I think Primus went through a few phases. He created the 13, then Vector Sigma, The Last Autobot/Great Warrior/Whatever else the myths called him, and went into his slumbers. Vector Sigma filled in for him creating further life, and the Last Autobot's purpose was fullfilled after his death. The 13 watched over the whole of the Universe, Vector Sigma created warriors against Unicron, and Last Autobot bridged the gap after his death. If you're a Quint fan instead, than I think you're stuck with Quints used VS to create product, though when depends on how you interpret the line, "Before Cybertron was, I was." At any rate, it is largely fill in your own blanks.
You see, what I am making my canon is that Primus and Unicron are first in galaxy, Unicron is captured by Primacron and made a modification to him allowing him to eat planets, Primus cretes transformers, Quintesions come and enslave transformers, then rebel. I am having trouble fitting VS in, with the fact that he says he came before cybertron (primus.)It is kinda a combo of comic and cartoon.
Just say that the Quints used Vector Sigma to control Primus and to produce slave and military goods (Transformers). But out of nowhere, they rebel! Vector Sigma didn't just give them AI to function-- it gave them personality!
No, Vector Sigma is sorta like Primus' aid or secratary.(sp?) He helps Primus with all his goddly deeds while Primus slumbers.
One more question, if you were describing the beginning of the universe(primus and unicron coming to be) would you tell it in first, second, or third version?
"Before Cybertron was, I was..." If you go by what he said, and the fact that Cyberton is Primus, then VS was first. But I don;t think it was ever meant to be read into that much. Note to self: I really need to add that line to my sig again at some point...
