I thought the same thing for a long time, but when watching the ep later I realized that there was a good chance that Jazz' race was what Bumblebee, Warpath, Wheelie, Blurr and Perceptor were watching, but Rodimus, Maguns and everyone else there were already watching another event where "Uncle Spanker" (or whatever his name was) from Argonon won.

Besides, the repeated unintentional resurrections of Huffer, Brawn, Hound (well, miscolored Swindle...), Ratchet, Ironhide, and Windcharger aside, I highly doubt that the powers that were in charge of S3 would wave a character that's obviously Jazz in our faces for like 5 minutes (and put him in the end credits) and then rename him to some guy no one's ever seen or will see again... You'd have to REALLY not be paying attention for that one...

Jazz was going to be a main character in the post movie episodes.

Scottmans death ended that plan and jazz was switched with other autobots in the scripts.

As for lazerbeak never showing up after the movie, didn't he show up in web world and headmasters?

I thought it was intresting that the Commentary track talked about hubcap in his only cartoon appearince.

Some say the extra bumblebee in rebirth was hubcap or bumper.

Did reflecter ever show up after the movie?

 

Did refector ever show up in the movie, or for the better part of season 2?

No, at least on my last review of the episodes reflector never showed up again... I guess Galvatron the insane only wanted lackeys that could speak...
