If Hasbro returns to Alternators, would you like to see motorcycles?

To be honest, I'd rather see them make a line like classics but using licensed vehicles - in other words deluxe-sized alternators, as much as I love them, the 1:24 figures take up too much space.

You mean like the RiD Autobot Bros.? Those were pretty much deluxe alternators.

They were close, but not quite, except maybe Machalert/Prowl.

Classics Bumblebee and Cybertron Downshift using licensed alt modes and rubber tires are more of what I had in mind.

Who said it has to be 1:24?

And how come most of the posters are anti-change and then all they say is ughh motorcycles? There's a world of stuff beyond that!

On top of what I already said, retro cars would be awesome!

Maybe I'm missing something to because I don't recall it being an absolute rule that all Alts MUST be that scale.

    In short:

    YES YES PLEASE YES.

I want Alternators to remain 1:24 across the line, I think that was a strong ideal. Motorcycles would fix the inherent weakness of everything being a Voyager.

I've always wanted some mass-produced generic junkions for that exact reason. I could repaint them ad nauseum, and if I don't like their smashed up friends, I can always return them; 90 day warranty! So say the Junkions!

while I mostly agree with this, a 1:24 scale motorcycle would have to be pretty small. RiD Axer, for instance, is close to what I expect an Alt Motorcycle to look like as far as details go, but in vehicle mode he's just as tall as Prime, the tallest Alternator vehicle. A real motorcycle is like half that size, and Axer's already a basic.

As to the question of "there arent enough motorcycle characters to make this worth it," frankly speaking, if Hasbro can make a bunch of figures that impress me as much as Axer does, then I really dont care who the characters are.

At first the concept sounded cool - yeah, motorcycles would look quite awesome and would be a good change from the plethora of cars and trucks - but then I thought of Hasbro's usual way of doing things. We'd probably get one 'cycle then repaints of that same bike for all the others!

Thats what I was thinking of - small and cheap Alternator toys but still at the 1:24 scale that also provide variety for people who complain that Alternators are always cars. I don't see "they would be tiny" as a valid complaint.

Thats pretty spiteful of you to yourself. You'd deny yourself something quite awesome just because they would do things later that you don't even have to buy?

I really like the 1:24 scale for transforming robots. I'd love to see motorcycles, classic cars and $30-40 military vehicles (you could absolutely engineer smallish tanks to cost only that much).

Motorcycles wouldn't be that bad. Some different price points for the Alternators would do wonders for the line. The one thing that I'd love to see, would be an Alternators Kup as a Dodge Dakota-

Now now, dont take my "they would be tiny" argument to be a complaint. I'm merely pointing out that Hasbro would have to design a whole new size class, something less than a basic but more than a mini-con. It would be somewhat unlikely. But if they could make it work, I'd support it 100%

I'd really like to see more variety in the line. i have 21 cars and one truck in my collection.....Give me some Motorcycles, Planes, Jets, Construction Vehicles........I see no real need to stick to the 1:24 scale just so long as they have a scale and not something just simply imagined. Give us some Motorcycles in the 1:24 scale and break them down to a deluxe price point. Make the Jets to a smaller scale so they're affordable but large enough to insert some detail. Seriously, I'd like to see this line expand if it continued. I'd buy a few more cars but I'd really like some variety here. And I think this is why the line has gotten stale....it's all just cars. With all the other lines (including G1) we got a ton of variety in Alt modes so why not make it so here?

Keep the 1:24 scale and, YES, add the bikes. How about a four wheeler and anything that is the same scale. The other lines don't keep the same scale. At least let these stay the same. I would allow a slightly smaller size to jets so it would be more likely that we would get them.

Absolutely the same scale. Higher price points would not be a problem if the right vehicle demanded it.

I don't think of the Alternators line as stale at all. Hasbro can release all the cars they want, and I'd still buy them for their sheer realism alone.

PS: A quick side question. Has Rumble been confirmed to be the last Alternator?
