Yeah I know... I'm usually not down wit KOs but this thing will never be re-issued and I had one as a kid, so hasbro already got that support... I been seein' them for cheap lately and I think it looks far better than the Classics Walmart exclusive that's supposed to be comming out soon.... feedback appreciated

Not really. it falls apart easily, most molded detail is lost (especially the faces) and parts are deformed so they don't fit right in any mode. and of course, no chrome.

My one fitted together okay. The biggest problems with it were the lack of chrome, crappy stickers, and dodgy plastic (Bonecrusher's shoulder joint breaking instantly, for example).

I've been very happy with the WSTF KO Gestaults: Superion, Defensor (Guard City), Ruination, Lio Kaiser, Devastator and Menasor (but 2 limbs of Menasor are really Technobots). I hope the 20cm Fortress Max I recently got on ebay is just as good. Also, not Gestaults but oversized Minicons and Micromasters are pretty cool too.

I've also wondered why its so seemingly easy for KO companies to resize TF molds. I think Has-Tak-Tom would make a mint if they released different size versions of former TFs and made them of even better quality.

Um. Yes. If you're not blind and ******ed.
To tell you the truth, the deal with KO's is this. They are good for kitbashing. Nothing else. Maybe.

And you sound over religious when you say "ANY". Would you rather destroy an actual MISB holy grail, that isn't a KO, worth about something near it's $100 worth, or a simple KO or bootleg you could customize into a better character? Give or take, you'd choose to Kitbash the actual thing rather than the KO.

Thanks a lot fellas... so I'm under the impression that it should be for display purposes only ( from a distance) and I should keep my super glue on hand...

And remember kids, always buy KO Transformers between $0.00 to $6.
And knowing, is half the battle.
:p  I had to do that.

well i got the yellow devestator from walgreens a while back and had to buy two other set to replace broken parts and get ones that fit, but they were like 2 bucks a pop so who cares.

but i got a green one on ebay and the quality is much much better. a lot better than most knockoffs i have so i guess its just luck usually, because different manufacturers produce different sets

My K.O. have different ranges of quality. Just to illustrate, my Devastator is great looking (minus the chrome and good quality stickers), super posable, look almost identical to the real deal. Won't fall down even if I push it a little bit. My Bruticus is horrible. The Combaticons can't be made to for Bruticus. The pegs do allign up. When I when to pull one Combaticon out, it broke. My Superion is OK. It tend to tip over. He ressembles somewhat the real toy. But there's something that makes it look off.

So all in all, I guess it depends on which one you happen to lay you hands on.

I had a KO Devastator on display for the longest time until I got the real thing. From a distance they're not too bad.

I thought the KO WST G1 I got was well worth the $10 I spent. I like it a lot.

It all depends on which ones you get. The boxed full team sets you always see are usually pretty good. Also, the ones from Canada's Dollarama ain't bad either. Its hit and miss with KOs, but considering the cost, its usually worth it if you really want that figure.

I forgot to mention: the wierd multi-colored devastator that you have to buy the bots seperately for is GREAT. it's got chrome, and the molding isnt degraded much at all (facial detail is just as sharp as the original, for example). Best full-size Devastator KO there is, if you can stand the colors.

My KO Devestator is a travesty...Bonecrusher came misassembled and as I was trying to fix it, it broke in six different places...I was able to use Scrapper and Hook as replacements for my original boken G1's temporarily until I can ebay some new ones. And I just realized that "temporarily" has now turned into five years and counting. God I suck.

I just got a KO Devastator DX (7 in version). Hasn't arrived yet, but it'll be interesting. In a while you'll see it again in the kitbash section
