My Bumblebee has 2 RiD Hightower's hand guns and cliff jumper has two pack primes gun cos two pack prime sucks to much to have a gun, I want to make CJ a different trailer to hold it and turn in to another weapon for him but I haven’t worked it all out yet.
I gave Clifjumper Prime's backpack-gun. Not only does it match Cliffjumper colorwise, but it reminds me of the episode of MTMTE where he pulls this giant cannon out of nowhere.
BB and CJ can hold TM guns! I had a spare Firebolt and Haywire and those are my guns for each of those guys Oddly enough, Rodimus can't hold Firebolt . . . oh well, can't win 'em all. . . . though I have been wondering if Rodimus can hold the twin G1 guns HR came with . . .
I suppose since the g1 versions of Bb and CJ did not come with weapons these guys didn't. I plan on giving these guys at least a pistol.
I've given the Bee and Cliffjumper the small pistols from the respective Yellow and Red RID Primes. I think it works quite well.
I gave my Classics Bumblebee Classics Voyeger Optimus Prime's smokestack gun. I think Prime looks better with just the one big cannon. I haven't gotten Cliffjumper yet so I'm gonna see if I can get any ideas from this thread for a gun for him.
If we're talking about Classics Rodimus, some can and some can't. The hand holes on mine are too big, but a lot of other people say theirs fit just fine.
i have an oversized KO energon blight, and both his big dual cannons are now bumblebee's handguns (and the fact that they're black in the KO version instead of clear blue makes it even better! )
I gave my BB & CJ Wreck-Gars' guns, Mirage got a Blurr gun and Hot Rod got G1 guns - the targetmaster guns don't fit him, though.
Kind of off subject here, but does anyone have any recommendations for giving Bludgeon a sword of someones that would look close what he had in the comics.
I have G1 Hot Rod guns on my Classics Rodimus. Well, one of them at least. I only had one extra. But that pic can be seen in Cool Stuff thread too.
Ive been thinking and trying that as well. Ive been scouring for non-TF toys though. You could try the ninja turtles Leonardo blades or ONEpiece samurai guy. I bought a Xevoz Razorclaw Metabeast with a big Straight Boloblade- cut off the end of the handle so it could fit in, not the samurai sword I'd wish it but fits with his Orange color Scheme ( handle of blade)and the blade is one heckbig one making him look deadly. I'm Still trying to look for better replacement ( a cheaper one as well) by browsing thru toy conventions in the accessories/spare parts areas, so far haven't seen any that fit, a lot of swords but just plain too small. If only there was a Gundam Samurai sword. If the handle is too small I could always "weave" a pattern of electrical tape( just as samurai handles have weaving of cloth for better grip) making it thick enough and samurai looking enough, but alas no such luck yet. On the thread topic Ive given my BB an extra Devastator cannon, painted it black, looks awesome on him. He has a hitman look with that gun having a long nozzle (silencer). i try not to borrow guns from one TF to another thereby making the original one lose theirs, but instead I buy an extra gunof the same ( once I know it fits) and give it to the non gun wielders so that every toy has one.
I put Orion Pax's gun with Mirage seeing as Orion does not need one being the peace loving robot he is.
I have a knockoff Devastator's gun around, I'll have to try TFtoyaddict's idea.. For now...you know how Bumblebee's door connects to a peg on the robot arm? That peg works nicely as a mini-con port. Right now, my Bumblebee's got the Cybertron Mini-con Sky Lynx in weapon mode hooked up there, and it looks great. It does kind of limit the poseability of the figure, though, since you have to move the door down to pull it off. I'm seriously considering getting another of those, painting him black and yellow, and renaming him "Stinger" to be Bumblebee's partner...
