I recently got the G1 Ratbat KO and he fits inside my soundwave. Now my question is , Did the original G1 ratty fit inside the original G1 soundwave . I ask because im almost sure he didnt
i dont see why he wouldnt. whats the point of making a tape where it doesnt fit inside of the tapedeck?
The only cassette that ever had issues fitting into any of the players was Beast Box (or was it Squawktalk?). Something about the design adding some extra ridges onto the side that make it too wide to fit properly. That one, whichever it was, fits perfectly in the Soundblaster and reissue ones, though, because the deeper tape door modified the mechanism slightly and hence is ever so slightly wider. That is my understanding of it. Any issues with fitting all come from the last wave of US cassettes, the early ones all fit fine to my knowledge.
I believe it was Squaktalk that didn't fit the original Soundwave, but it's good to know he'll fit in the reissue, I'd like to get him someday.
i don't think i couldn't get any of the G1 tapes inside soundwave. even sqwaktalk and BB. They may have been tougher to get in , but they fit.
