Does anyone remember them? Ive looked online and never found any evidence of them, but I remember having them. They weren't Transformers in name, and were possibly Go-Bots. Came with the Roy Rogers equivalent of a Happy Meal.

I loved these things, were as much a staple as my regular TF as a kid. Does anyone have any info, or even better, images of them? At this point I'd settle with someone admitting they existed!

    Later!

Go-bots had a line of fast-food premium toys, I've seen a little on them online a long time ago. I think they were from a chain called Wendy's, though. Not sure if that's the same chain / franchise or not, but those would have been about the right time.

Not same chain or parent company. Roy Rogers was a major Fast Food chain in the 80s, at least in the North East USA. It is now only at select rest-stops on Turnpikes and Parkways.

I remember Wendy's Go-bots. (still have one, a blue bullet-shaped jet). I remember Roy Rogers restaurants (had one or two where I lived), but don't really remember Transforming robot toys from them, though who knows if I would've noticed them at the time anyway.

Can you give some sort of general description of one? I seem to slightly recall something about it, but I'm not too sure.

I had one, It was about the size of a standard gobot (I think they were all supposed to be gobots)

the name I forgoet, but it changed into a type of helicopter with two blades in front and in back.
It was a basic tan color, with some yellow for the eye and maybe some silver on the face.

The transform sequence was simple, you pull the main baody to extend it, then the tail section would rotate to form it's feet. the Helicoptor blades could then be placed on the arms as weapon. the arms were able to move up and down.

I remember a blue truck from Wendy's, the doors opened for arms, the legs pulled down, and I think the head pulled up. I remember that twin copter too. They were built fairly solidly for kid's meal toys.

Not sure if they are the ones you mean, though.

    THESE!

LOL at the space shuttle one - that's about as lame as it gets.

Oh yeah, I have Guide Star and Pow-Wow. Can't recall where I got them from, though.

I lived in Boston and a suburb of Baltimore, both of which had Roy Roger's at the time, when any transforming toys would have come out. I don't recall them having any, but my family has always been pretty anti-fast food, so it might just be that we didn't eat there when they were available.

Wow....they actually made GoBots transformations simpler?

I would have never thought it possible.

I actually remember having Breez, the twin-rotor helicopter. He wasn't bad really. Easily the best of the bunch, and not far from some of the Transformers of the time (a brick).

Y'know what's annoying... I still have both of his rotors, but lost him ages ago. How often does that happen?

Christ on a Bike! I've had "Breez" for years, but never knew what it was or where it came from until now. I can't believe the lack of creativity with that space ship one.
Oh wait, these are Go-Bots. :rolleyes2

Hehe, no the Wendy's one's aren't it. And I can't remember what they were, other than one was orange. Hopefully before I die someone an verify I'm not crazy with this :)  I know it was Roy Rogers, because I used to go back to my Pop's house after the parents split every weekend, and there was a Roy Rogers on the way home.

I'm not sure who this question was originally aimed at, though it was answered by feralstorm. I'd like to redirect this question to Mr. Bacala. Can you describe the one you remember? It may help in identifying your mystery toy.
