That and also because its very cheap for them to get movies like Scooby Doo and the original Batman and Spider-man.

And it is just that reason, cost, that has led them to air such great stuff as Reanimated, Dumb and Dumber, and Saved by the Bell and Tim and Eric Awesome Show.

Its also why genius levels shows like Venture Brothers sat on hiatus for over a year before it was renewed, but instead we got such wonderful turds like Assy McGee, Tom Goes to the Mayor, 12 oz Mouse and others.

I bet CN can buy a season of feces like Tom Goes to the Mayor and Squidbillies for the cost of two Venture Brothers episodes.

    :lolol

And I actually didn't mind "Saved By The Bell" or "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" airing on [AS]. SBTB airing on CN was one of the greatest April Fool's programming pranks ever, and even gave them a ratings boost. I mean, it's vintage 80's nostalgia full of cheese and our childhood memories, and three really hot girls. Works for me.

And I will defy anyone who would call Pee-Wee's Playhouse "crappy". It was cutting-edge in its day, and like Looney Tunes cartoons just gets more entertaining the older you get. There was some subtle adult content in that show that I'm only just now getting the joke. And you really need to see the original live version of the show. Definitely adult: http://imdb.com/title/tt0081915/
