I just got that one a few months ago and it's pretty good. The surround sound is mixed well. It was a good price for the entire G1 series, but I'm not sure now "official" it is. |

As for the set's officiality, I highly doubt it. However, since the quality's so good and it's really cheap, I have no complaints with it at all. |

And I got it for Xmas. Love it - BUT, I didn't care for how most of the disks didn't have a protective sleeve b4 being put in the cardboard "holder" - a couple have minor scratches, so I pulled them all out, and dropped into individual holders, copied the episode listing, and that's in the tin (the orig holder is w/ my collection).
Sound quality seems great, picture is clear (course, I have no clue what to compare to, so....)
If I could have found the original Rhino releases at least at their orig prices, I might have gotten the US release - but couldn't find those, cept on eBay, usually for a chunk more.
And my 4 y/o was getting bored of the same 8 disks of S1 & S2.1 and wanted more TFs |

I must say it was well worth the price...official or not! |

I have the Rhino sets, but didn't like the sound work they did and the film transfers full of errors. If this set is the correct versions I remembered as a little tot, then I may get this to replace the Rhino set. No more word on the Sony sets that are supposed to come out....but I'm sure they won't be this cheap!!! |
