I just got a picture a few minutes ago and it appears than the Movie Bumblebee toy we saw previously on the Sunny Shine Up website is just the Fast Action Battler version and not the deluxe version. I compared the picture to the unpainted prototype and they match perfectly. So that explain the spring-loaded gimmick, the gear mecanism on the legs and the painted windows.
Also pictured are FAB Ratchet (recently seen on Ebay) in vehicle mode, FAB Brawl (previously seen) in vehicle mode and FAB Barricade (never seen before) in robot mode. I'm going to get Bumblebee and possibly Barricade. I should also receive another picture of BB in Barricade in car mode and Ratchet & Brawl in robot mode tomorrow, plus a few pictures of the transformable Starscream blaster, which I will also get with the Prime blaster. I'll post all those pics as soon as I get the green light.
EDIT : My wrong, it truly is deluxe BB. So I guess I'll get getting a deluxe BB, that's even better than I thought!
EDIT : Barricade is indeed the deluxe version too. Dammit! |

#3 | | Dinobot Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 871 | Yeah, it was listed as a deluxe. Maybe it was originally a FAB, but do far all signs point to deluxe. Plus the missles on the FABs seem to all be clear blue plastic instead of the solid yellow.

EDIT : now checking the back of Barricade's packaging, this is indeed deluxe Bumblebee. My wrong. I still have to compare the Barricade to see if it's the deluxe or the FAB. The simplified legs look FABish to me. | |
