On Wednesday 24th January , the annual British toy and hobby fair will commence and of course I'll be among the visitors who will have full access to the event . With hope, I'll be able to access Hasbro's booth and interact with their representatives on transformers . so does any uk or us fan here want to forward any questions to the reps so that I can copy out a list , print it into a questionaire I can use at a hasbro person?

    1) Why were Ironhide and Ratched made in 1984 without heads?

    2) Michael Bay: was it a Faustian Pact?

    3) Phone Takara. We need those painted MP:05 shots NOW.

    I got questions for Hasbro.

-Are there any plans on bringing Masterpiece Starscream to America?
-Are there any plans on reissuing Alternators Sideswipe, Hound, and Dead End in the future? (I never got those three :( )
-Will there be FEMALE Alternators soon? I MUST KNOW!!!
-Do you plan on continuing the Classics line after the movie is in theaters 7/4/07?
-If so to the previous question, then will there be a Classics Jazz? Or any other Transformers coming to the line?
-Why didn't you guys make a trailer for 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime when he came out? Seriously, if Takara didn't do it until late last year, couldn't you guys do the same?
-Why does Classics Optimus Prime have no trailer?
-Are we EVER going to see an Alpha Trion figure?
-Will there be a Classics Thundercracker coming out soon? You guys did Starscream and Skywarp, best be a good idea to have the third dude come out also, just so some of the Transfans will be a bit more quiet. :p

I'd like to know if we're getting the Movie toys over here, if so will we get the full line or just a selection as in previous years?
Also, are we getting the Movie Preview figures?

Bear in mind this is Hasbro UK guys, they won't have the kind of info you're asking about (MP Starscream in America, etc). They probably won't know about much that doesn't concern the UK line (I wouldn't expect them to, anyway).

    I've got a couple:-

    1. Classics, whats the deal, why are we paying £11.99 for deluxes?

    2. Movie toys, are we getting all of them, and will we get fair prices?

    3. Cybertron, any particular reason Wave 2 of the deluxes were passed on?

    4. Classics, can we expect to see any of the following:-
    - Thundercracker
    - Dirge
    - Thrust

Edit: Also I agree with the poster below, are we seeing Titanium 6', and will we be paying £15 or £7-8?

    1. Are we ever going to get a decently priced TF toy in the UK again?
    2. Do they have any idea how much money they lose from people importing things that are widely available in the US?

To the people that are asking 'Is figure X, Y & Z coming out', you do realise that this is Hasbro UK and about the only answer you'll get is 'We don't know'

The probably won't know what upcoming figure are being planned.

Besides Hasbro US said that everything is on hold till after the movie.
So don't expect any new Alternators or Classics to be announced.

    One two part question:

    A) Why is the U.K/European price on Transformer toys 2 - 2.5 times the U.S price?

B ) Which part of Hasbro has final decision on pricing - Hasbro's international divisions or Hasbro in Pawtucket.

I assume that was in jest.

hi nice to hear from you again prowlus i agree about the questions on uk titaniums, uk classics (what were getting), and the pricing issues, finding out who decides that would be interesting, although i assume its hasbro uk

also reissues, toys r us recently stocked new reissues in prowl, tracks, skywarp red alert etc (all on sale now for those interested) can u see if these were toys r us imports or uk releases and whether we will get any more (like silverstreak , smokescreen etc)

    thanks

We saw stock photos from Hasbro, and the packaging is slightly different from the old US releases. So I'd say they were specifically produced with a UK release in mind.

I was quite surprised to see new reissues in TRU the other day, especially considering that the previous releases warmed shelves so much that it reduced the heating bill.
