Blitzwing and Astrotrain - damn. I knew I'd left two out. Alright, I'd substitute those two for Scourge and at a push ... maybe Reflector ... although we've never seen a toy remotely resembling the Reflector of the cartoon who is a real cool character that got short shrift next to Rumble and the like. (anyone else think this?) Compared to that new camera robot doing the rounds in prototype piccys right now, they were great - particularly when they stood on eachothers shoulders like a little circus troupe. Heh.

Are the two classic triple changers REALLY iconic though? I think it would be damn fine to have them in there, just to see if they could pull off the transformation x3(one transformation takes a lifetime in MP: land, don't forget)

I'm just not sure Blitzwing and Astrotrain's personalities as such, are all that to really warrant it (and it would be all about the cool tank/shuttle aesthetic as you say, etc....)

That list is based on mixing them up as best I can 10/10 to get a variety of alt modes in each list for each side, so , for example, the autobots ten aren't taken up by all cars etc.

If you had them on your desk facing off eachother, that would feel like a rounded, classic G1 collection including most of everybody's favourites. You wouldn't think: "Oh God, hoist is missing! Where's Powerglide?? Where's Brawl?? - You'd see the basic, classic pieces.

And I reckon if they really pulled their finger out, Takara could give it us over 5 years, a few pieces a year. They won't, but ... any rate, your comments

SHN I think Skyfire definatly should have a spot, Springer would be freaking awsome but in my opinion was not as important as Skyfire.
Out of Prowl and Perceptor, unfortunatly a police car would do a lot better on the market than a telescope, so Prowl.
Blitzwing or Cyclonus. Cyclonus would go well on a shelf beside Galvatron no doubt but they are the only season 3 charecters in your list and I have already said no to one triplechanger (springer) so i'd have to go with Blitzwing.
And If I could I'd replace Galvatron with the cone head molds, Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge.

I have always liked the Idea of MPs of all the Beast Wars show charecters.
