What happened to TRU Gen 1 soundwave?

What happened to TRU Gen 1 soundwave?
Does anyone know what happened with the Toys R Us Gen 1 soundwave that was due out December 5th?

Has anyone located it in stores? It has been pulled off the website...

I pre-ordered it for my husband on November 24th, and for three weeks my order status has been listed as "back ordered". I finally called Toys R Us today and they have no record of the item in their database. The operator couldn't even tell me why it had been pulled or if it would be available ever. It was like it had never existed, yet here I am with an open order for one.

Anyone know what's going on with it?

Sorry... I'm new to this board and I missed the "sticky" in my haste. I am just seeking an answer to my question from people who probably know a lot more about it than I do. No harm was intended.
