Dinobots

OK, all, wondering what your thoughts on the Dinobots in general and each one of them specifically are?

How do ya think they were treated in the cartoon?

Were you a fan of the toys?

Do ya think they were used to their full potential, underdeveloped, or if they just weren't needed?

Yeah, just curiosity on my part. Even as a kid, I loved the concept but always found them to be slightly annoying on the cartoon. But my best friend had the toys and they were AWESOME in my eyes then. So I'm wondering what others thought.

I pretty much like 'em all. Always been a dinosaur collector so I was eagerly awaiting their release back in da old days. Slag was my first.

Not too bad. I liked them best in season 1, 2 and the movie. Didn't much care for how Grimlock was portrayed in season 3.

Hell yeah. Got them all, and I'm getting them all again via the WST versions. Just got Grimlock and Slag in the mail today. I must say that they are pretty damn cool, and some aspects of them are better than the originals. That said, it'd be awesome if they were rereleased in their original size with these "updated" features, or at least if they were ALL remade into Classics versions. I'm also praying for a Masterpiece Grimlock.

Kinda "all the above" really.

DINOBOTS RULE! I got all 5 complete and I also got my WST Dinobots yesterday as well. It's too bad that my Grimlock did not have any weapons when I opened his package.

I always wondered what their personalities would be like if the Autobots took the Dinobots to Vector Sigma. Smarter or dumber than before?

I loved the toys but I didnt have all of them (My first one was Snarl but I got him when I was 6 and broke him, I then got a hand me down Slag from a kid next door to me, then I went to a boot fair when I was 12 and found two perfect in condition Grimlock and Sludge I got them both for 2 pounds)

I loved the cartoon versions, Grimlock was my favourite (My mum still to this day when she hears the name Grimlock goes "Not ME Grimlock" haha) My favourite episode has to be call of the primitives just because grimlock saves the day.

One thing I must say is in the cartoon before the movie they were given a more rebelous feel to them but after the movie they were just there for comic relief.

I just saw 'em in the toons, and they were great pre-movie. Post-movie (hell even during the movie) sucked. They made Grimlock silly-stupid, instead of just slow. Plus I really liked how pre-movie they TFed to dino mode to do the major ass-kickings, yet after the movie they had Grimlock servering pasteries with an apron on in dino mode. Wtf.

I like em all but they voices used were lacking imo. It sounded like the voices being done were something my grandad would do to make me laugh
