I'm a fan of them all. Very inconsistently. Loved the toys. Some of the coolest G1 toys. I consider them a missed opportunity in the cartoon. They could have been pure badass Autobots for the whole G1 series. Seeing such power get reduced into nothing more than comedy relief was a waste of potential. Grimlock could have been a true Autobot general with his power, but instead was made into a little kid who wanted to hear Kup's stories all the time.
I always loved em. I was about 8 when they came out and I was a huge Dinosaur fan. Loved em on the cartoon but really got into them when Furman took over the comic. I also really liked the backstory with them in War Within. Overall a great concept for a sub-group that works really well.
The Dinobots and the Seekers were my favorite G1 TFs. Can't wait for either a re-issue of the Dinobots, or better yet, that they ALL get the Masterpiece treatment. I know it's asking a lot, but I keep dreaming…
