Why is it every time I see prototypes for this Unicron, his arm is always falling down like that? Is that the way he's suppose to look?
This toy looks horrid, and goes nicely I suppose with the horrid looking Galvatron toy we got then too. The BotCon looks pretty boring as well.

Hello All!
In the 4rd pic of this post, there is a rather small, white figure standing there. While not a noticeable Transformer, or rather unable to tell due to clarity, is this an Arcee?? As I zoom in, the pics become more unstable but just looking at the pic as is, I would swear that is what it looks like. Take a look at the Fort Max with his box in background and Unicron next to him pic. In front of them is a little white figure. Hum...

Galvatro, seeing something or maybe nothing at all...

Forgot to tell Monzo: Thanks for posting these pics! Good that there are people out there that still have pics of these toys.

Galvatro, counting down to BC06!

Galvatro: The tiny Arcee is there because Men In Black originally wanted an original mold Action Master-style Arcee from Hasbro as the convention exclusive, not realizing the astronomical costs involved in the tooling of it. Apparently they had that done up before they heard the costs, which wouldn't be the last time they'd put the cart before the horse.

(Also, ah, you realize you can click on the thumbnails in each of these posts to go to a bigger picture, right? Just making sure.)

And... eh. Just for completion's sake, here are enlargements from the first image. They didn't really come out as good as the rest, but every little bit counts, no?

Man, as much as I really like Armadacron, I really dig that Neocron. I'd still buy one.

As far as the Pretenders and the various Micromaster and Action Master vehicles go, they appear to be protos of the "extremely fragile, hand-carved" variety, rather than production pieces. Notice, for instance, that the blue humanoid Pretender has a hand that's broken off.

According to a friend of mine, the G1 Unicron prototype sold was for $12,500 by WhizBang.

No, that's not how he's supposed to look. As I remember it, the Men In Black guys had trouble trying to move Unicron's arm, so they just left it like that since they were afraid of breaking it, because he was on loan to them.

That's what I thought it went for, but I really couldn't remember. I bought my G1 Soundwave from the same guy I beleive. I just couldn't believe that someone bought that Unicron for $12K+ . . .

Insane that the prototype went for that much.

Botcon '96 was just ten years ago. Look at how far the fandom has changed...and evolved since then.
