With a thread on which series you enjoy the least, I think we should have a more positive thread to balance it out. So, feel free to just tell us what your favorite Transformers series is, and gush about everything you love about it. If this is an existing thread, then sorry.

As for me, Transformers: Prime easily. G1 was cheesy 80's fun, the movies are cheesy blockbuster fun, RID2015 is cheesy fun in general, and Beast Wars and Animated had great characters and storylines, but Prime steals the show for me.

I love the characters. It gives us an Optimus Prime who isn't sure about himself, but doesn't make him a rookie or have him make some stupid decisions because of it, like with Animated and the G1 Marvel comics. He feels like a real leader, who's fought this four-million year war and tries to be detached so he doesn't show weakness in front of his soldiers or his enemies. Arcee's an actual warrior who's lost friends to the war and isn't just the token girl or a psychopath. Bumblebee combines the vulnerability of his G1 self and the loyalty and fighting skill of his movie incarnation to make my definitive Bumblebee. Ratchet is highly enjoyable and his personality is a mashup of everything I loved about previous Ratchets. Starscream is more effective than ever, killing an Autobot and managing to lead the Decepticons for half a season, and actually worming his way back into Megatron's good graces before Season 2 was over. Megatron was a ruthless warrior like in G1, but was more cunning and sophisticated like in Animated and Beast Wars. Soundwave was cool, Shockwave was cool, Bulkhead was cool, Knock Out was hilarious... I enjoyed everyone in the series.

The voicework was phenomenal. Franchise veterans Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are back as Optimus and Megatron, and they do an amazing job. Jeffrey Combs and Steve Blum also stand out with highly enjoyable performances, and Will Friedle even managed to give Bumblebee, who'd been mute all series, a seriously cool voice that one me over with his first line.

A lot of people rag on the status quo taking center stage, and I'll admit that was an issue. Not a major one for me, but still an issue. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story arcs, with Unicron showing up in a really cool way, I like the sense of family brought about by the ending to the Orion Pax arc, and I even enjoyed the relic hunt. The only story arc I'll confess any amount of disappointment to is the Predacon arc, and even that lent itself to some development for Predaking.

Transformers: Prime just impressed me in every single way from start to finish, and I don't think I've enjoyed a Transformers series that much before or since.

I would have to go with Prime. There are lots of other shows that had higher high points, or that are better in some aspect or another, but none that I enjoyed as much overall on a consistent basis.

Prime for sure. It was the strongest overall and gave us the best Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Arcee, Ultra Magnus, and Ratchet. I also hope Dreadwing and their version of Predaking appears in other media somewhere down the line. Fowler was by far the best human we've ever had.

The designs were great, especially Arcee, Starscream, Soundwave, Dreadwing/Skyquake, Smokescreen, Vehicons, and the Predacons.

I'll say that Airachnid wasn't as bad as people say. I found her to be far more entertaining than either version of Blackarachnia.

The animation was stellar and the voice cast was perfect across the board. Welker, Blum, Combs, Montano, Noble, and Norris were the standouts for me. The action is the best outside of the movies. Predaking vs Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack is still one of my favorite fights in the entire franchise.

Was it perfect? No, but it was close enough for me. I'm glad RID is continuing the story. Next time I post it will be about the movies.

Animated, with Prime close behind. I like Animated over Prime because Prime could be a bit boring at times, and seem to drag on needlessly mostly in the first season. Animated I feel had fewer episodes you could skip, The Headmaster comes to mind. Also, for me Animated is more memorable. If you started to describe an episode I can recall it easily, not so much with Prime.

Cybertron by far honestly. It just clicked with me.

Beast Wars is also quite enjoyable. I do consider it the best cartoon.

Animated was a delight as well.

G1 has its moment for better or for worse.

I did enjoy Prime when it aired....believe it or not around the time most people thought it went to shit.

Beast Wars, Prime, Animated, the Movies(especially DOTM & AOE), & G1

Right now I'm enjoying and loving RiD15 but it doesn't make it in the top five. I also have to mention Cybertron(it feels so anime like) and Armada.

Probably Animated and the IDW comics, just in terms of pure enjoyment. I like Beast Wars, but there are still several episodes I haven't seen, and I don't really feel the urge to rewatch it. I rewatch episodes of Animated and reread my IDW comics all the time (the good ones, anyway).

Not so much nowadays, but back when it was airing I absolutely loved Armada. Hell, I still think a lot of it's pretty damn cool, though the show itself is not all that good.

G1 is the only one I really watched, so G1.

Animated had an awful art style that I couldn't enjoy at all, and Prime seemed to borrow a lot of visual cues from Michael Bay's terrible movies.

Beast Wars, Animated and Rescue Bots. One thing they all have in common for me is that they all had great characters I love. Beast Wars and Animated had some great plots and stories, and Rescue Bots is just plain fun and enjoyable.
