I watch G1 almost every night. S1E16 Megatron say's it was good the cons made the constructicons? But in a othe Episode the Deve-cons built Megatron? And the Secret of omega supreme episode? I don't care people will notice odd things. But from reading about when they made G1, they where rushed like crazy I have seen two Starscreams standing side by side ha I find it funny the mistakes no big deal to me! A autobot sounds like a con for a few words lol love it!

There were many continuity errors and animation errors in G1. Most would agree that it's part of the charm. The story editors were not operating out of a Bible, so to speak. This resulted in story editor for the movie, Flint Dille, thinking that the Matrix of Leadership was mentioned or used in season 2 when those story writers never got around to it...a case of the left hand not really knowing what the right hand is doing because of the sheer work load of episodes.
