Animated is eight years old hm time flies personally i didn't care for animated for many of the reasons people actually did but it brought some great ideas to the franchise Lockdown, a corrupt autobot government, Megatrons head manipulating everything, the starscream death montage, and especially their take blackarchia. Despite my opinion it certainly earned it's place in the transformers universe so here's to animated great to see you were able to find a transformer show you really enjoyed hope you find another I salute Transformers animated and all the good it did for this franchise
RG1 only ended last year. I'm holding out hope one could be announced later this year, or next year. After that, I'll assume there's zero chance.
Animated definitely had the best writing. (And this coming from a guy whose favorite TF series is Cybertron.) I really need to get this show on DVD. I miss it. Animated getting canceled after three seasons was a sign of Cartoon Network getting ready to take a nose dive in quality. An Animated comic book series is something we need, even if it’s just to tie-up loose ends.
Transformers Animated was the first toy line I collected 100% since Transformers Energon. I watched every episode. One of my best friends was the lead designer for the series. I have some rare material from it that I will probably never sell. In the end, when Transformers Animated was over, so was my love for the franchise itself. I have only now started collecting again because of Combiner Wars. Once that ends, I will be back to obscurity.
That was hilarious and sad how they made Regeneration 1....something nobody really asked for instead of TFA Season 4. I hope they make it around the 10th anniversary of the show.
