Cybertron was always a machine world, not a cyberformed one.

You realize that FOC and TF1 take place in different continuities, right?

Well, let me amend my statement. Fan fiction is headcanon, okay, but I don't consider just blatantly going against what's been established as headcanon. Movies and Aligned are different universes.

Eh, who cares. I've just considered head canon as little bits of info that can help the existing story, not contradict it.

 

My Head Cannon is a mixture of Sunbow G1, Marvel G1, Marvel UK G1, The G1 Japanese Cartoon continuations, Marvel G2, Regeneration One and Beast Wars.

Well then that's an interesting headcanon.

 

Mine is that Beast Wars takes place in some alternate G1 'universe,' not the main G1 series itself. Also that Transformers were originally built to be commodity products by the Quintessons, Decepticons being created for other beings they sold them to for use as war bots and Autobots for domestic purposes. Hence why the two factions have certain traits like having red eyes or blue eyes, and their specific 'logos,' this is to show what they are mainly used for.

However, since their commodities are alive, I think the Quintessons might have bio-engineered their creations based off of themselves (and other techno-organic creatures) rather then make 'true' robots. They also may have the ability to eat things other then energon (but most don't think/know they can do this) mainly going off of seeing the Insecticons, Trypticon, and that odd Japanese comic where the Decepticons are catching humans to eat them (the one with Deathsaurus and Super Megatron.)

Every Whirl from all continuities has the same backstory and attitude as he does in MTMTE.

Beast Machines was a dream one of the maximals had on the way to Cybertron, but Botanica was real.

Slipstream hauled off Starscreams body and revived him.... Again.

Animated Jazz, Bumblebee, Sari, Ratchet, Optimus, and Bulkhead gave Prowel a proper funeral on Cybertron.

Hardshell being more well-spoken and refined than the other Insecticons is because the hive mind has poured most of its knowledge and awareness into him, a primary vessel essentially, causing him to act as a 'head' of the swarm. When he died, another insect would be selected as the primary vessel.
