Another new RB episode on the Discovery Family channel for us today.... Title: Pirates Ahoy! Description: The Burnses ancestry is called into question when evidence links them to ancient pirates, so Dani attempts to clear her family's name. Air time: 12:30 pm CT/ 1:30 pm ET *reminder: Last weeks episode: Time After Time airs prior to today's new ep.
"GRIFFIN ROCK HAS BEEN BETRYAED!" Yes clearly by the fact that the WIFE of your founder and NOT your founder himself was a a pirate and stole FROM HER HUSBAND means that ALL Burns family members are evil! I'm really hoping that MEgatron shows up and squishes him flat!
It was great seeing Woodrow again, didn't realize he was in it! Kind of an odd premises but it was a fun ep.
Yeah, think they went out on a limb... or island... for this one. Blades had some of the best lines, maybe they'll have a use for this one in a later ep. But the Burns family are where they need to be, doing what they do best.
The Mayor better lose come re-election time. It's one thing to have the bumbling character, but at this point, his poor decision making is just plain costing the town. Also, man is Blades good at making sandcastles!
This is a definitive "idiot ball" episode, with the town as a whole holding it (but mostly the Mayor) Mayor Lusky is usually a petty dumbass, but suspending the entire rescue force for having a pirate ancestor is taking it to another, vaguely Klingon level. Previously I wondered why Lusky campaigns for re-election so much when we haven't heard about any other candidates. I'm not sure if he's so dumb that he campaigns when there's no competition, or he's smart enough to know he has to campaign or risk losing to write-in votes for "How about nobody? Can't be worse, right?"
A shame, yes. Must have something to do with the new episodes of RID airing in America. Anyways, a fun episode! Loved Blades and his sand castle, and the message of the episode: never judge someone for their past.
