Which is series had the best music in Transformers? G1 Movie, Bayformers or Transformers: Prime? I love the G1 soundtrack/score but my pick is Prime.

Both the G1 soundtrack and Vince DiCola's score are classics.

I'm going to have to say Bayformers. The scores to each of those movies are simply amazing and I can listen to them over and over again without getting tired of it. Prime has some good stuff, but it's a tad repetitive.

The G1 cartoon music was just pure cheese, whereas the animated movie had at least some good stuff (like Unicron's theme, or any of the songs by Stan Bush).

Prime was too similar in my case. The Decepticons theme all had the same dark and gloomy music, not a unique dark and gloomy soundtrack.
    Bayformers wins for me.

Of the 3 listed, I had to go with Prime. My only complaint is that it can be a bit repetitive, but the main tune still stands out to me as one of the coolest action pieces in TV. Also, it helped give TFP a more epic feel. G1, eh, it was good for what it was, but it just sounds like a generic cartoon score. The movieverse actually had decent music, but it just didn't seem like Transformers to me.

Hmm, wish the poll was a multi choice one. I'll vote G1 for the most fun, but Bayformers has a lot of songs that I like.

Anything answer that isn't the films is simply, to me, wrong. Prime had a lot of good tracks and is REALLY good, but it does have some repetitive parts. Plus it was influenced by the films, so there is that. And sorry, but G1 score kind of sucks for the most part, except for maybe the 1986 movie.

I think the live-action films have the best original score. Steve Jablonsky's tracks are simply amazing, and a lot of them are Transformer-y in their own right.

At the same time, I think the 1986 movie has an amazing soundtrack of rock songs.

So yeah, it depends on if you're talking about the soundtrack or the score. I prefer the live action movies for their scores and the 1986 film on the soundtrack side of things.

I wish Cybertron/Galaxy Force had been an option.

That show had an awesome soundtrack. The Japanese openings and endings are godly and I also love the song that sounds like The X-files.

Well, soundtrack award goes to the '86 film. Score? Bayformers, hands down. Prime has a few good pieces here and there, but it's not terribly unique or great.

Yeah, I think we need to clarify if we're talking about soundtracks or scores. For me it's both the score and the soundtrack for the '86 flick.

I went with live-action because the tracks are amazing and recognizable especially with Arrival to Earth.

86 movie. Nothing from the Bay films past the first movie is memorable. Same goes for Prime.

Nothing says awesome 80s like the G1 soundtrack (plus DiCola). The other soundtracks are simply background music and, while certainly good, don't stand on their own without footage.
