I do not think so, I like the tone and it is already in my top 5 but I will give it a precise look after about a season or so

I'm not trying to be a downer, but after animated and prime, I have no intrest in this show.

G1s often over the top humor.

Kid, I just want to point out that it took less than 3 hours for you to go from happy someone was "lightening the mood" to pretty much hating on nearly every post. Ponder on that one.

Now, as to the thread in question, let's try and do this one by one.

G1: The first, and in a lot of ways, a template we're still drawing from today. It was lighthearted, weird and cheesy at times, but so much FUN in a show that doesn't even bother to take itself seriously.

G2: Pretty much the same as G1, but when it first came out, the CGI opening and bumpers were a really new and novel thing to see. I remember hoping the entire show was going to be like that.

Headmasters: I don't think I've ever laughed as hard at any Transformers moment as I have at the Star TV dub of the "Buddha Transformation" scene.

Masterforce: Sentai meets Transformers, in a radically different take on the concept that really stands out for me, even today. A lot of great concepts in this show, and some fantastic fights.

Victory: Hugely influential towards the Brave franchise that would follow it, which in many ways would keep the Super Robot genre of anime going (and which led to some great shows, like GaoGaigar).

Zone: More of an OVA than a show, but it was about the only animation we got for Micromasters beyond the commercials. A massive series of callbacks and reuses to round out G1.

Beast Wars: I cannot understate how much of a sleeper hit this was for me. I remember knowing literally nothing about the show when it first aired, and when "TRANSFORMERS" flashed on the screen during the action of the opening sequence, I pretty much lost my shit. It remains one of the highwater marks for storytelling in the franchise.

Beast Machines: Set some high goals, with ambitious design and narratives, in a radically different approach for Transformers in the american market, on a lot of different levels.

RiD/Car Robots: Took the Franchise back to its roots (and not just because it recycled a whole bunch of toys from the g1-g2 era!), with action-packed, simple episodes and a lighthearted, fun tone and cast of characters.

Armada: Despite its problems, managed to shine at some points, like the development and death of Starscream.

Energon: Ironically, this is a lot like the show people were expecting G2 to be, merging cel and CGI animation. On a number of occasions, this ended up with some really complex, exciting scenes (especially ones with whole swarms of terrorcons) that hadn't been done as well previously.

Cybertron: The coming of Primus looked really, really good.

Animated: A perfect series, IMO, for the 25th anniversary. It drew on the best of the franchise's history, putting new spins on old characters and putting them into new situations. Strong story arcs, especially as the show went on, and characters who actually related to each other and had lasting impacts on their castmates as the show went on.

Prime: It had The Goddamn Rock in it, that in and of itself is worth celebrating.

RiD2015: I'm seeing a lot of promise in this show. I absolutely love the character designs for the animalistic Decepticons.

Rescue Bots: I don't think any of us expected a show aimed at such a young audience to be as well-written as Rescue Bots has turned out to be when it was first announced.

No, you really haven't, and a simple observation shows your statistical analysis is in error.

8 posts. 3 were positive, 3 were neutral, 2 were outright critical. Even posts that I'm counting as neutral or positive were filled with backhanded compliments or aggressive commentary on what other people have said.

C'mon kid, you can do better than this. Tell us one of the things you loved most about Beast Wars.

One thing I loved about beast wars was its ability to fill every character with, well, character! Everyone had a porpose, they weren't there just to be crowd filler. Even toy market Tigerhawk got some kick@ss moments. Although Airazor and Scorponok could have been fleshed out more.

And I don't think I have to remind you of the most emotionally charged character death ever. long live Dinobot! I might be wrong, but I don't think any cartoon could top "code of hero".

Masterforce and Victory were beautifully animated - probably the best hand drawn animation of any TF shows, often rivaling The Movie.

As for Sunbow G1, I made a G1 cartoon appreciation thread a while back. Love it too much to express in one post. ;)

G1: Fun to watch for the action and cheese.

BW: Good story, with great characters. Good villains led by the best Megatron. Groundbreaking animation for it's time.

BM: Good characters in a great story. Groundbreaking animation for it's time

RID01: Fun filler, with decent characters.

Armada: Good story arcs, once they start appearing. Decent characters, and villains too.

Energon: My first TF cartoon (saw the films first). Decent villains, decent concepts.

Cybertron: Best of the UT. Well dubbed, just passable animation, decent characters, and early on had powerful villains, and a lot about TFs actually hiding on Earth.

Animated: Good characters, good story, good villains fought by the best Optimus Prime.

Prime: Everything other than the writing's great. Good voice acting, good animation, etc.

RID15: So far, fun characters, best iteration of the 'Cons of since FOC.

As far as the Unicron Trilogy goes, the absurd attention to detail in maintaining toy-accuracy (except some of Armada's earlier episode's deeply flawed animation).

For Prime, making something of Unicron besides the usual "giant planet-eating ball in space".

yes, that was certainly one of the Armadaverse's high points, to a point that some of the characters had screw holes!
