I was playing with the Combiner Wars Android app and I noticed there was an image in the gallery of a seeming Predacon among the others... Anyone know what this art is? I took a screen capture of it. Appears to be a Predacon, maybe with a Cybertronian mode? Rampage? Razorclaw? New guy?

I'm still holding out hope for a Cybertronian vehicle mode Predacon combiner.

 

I'm not. I'd rather have the actual Predacons. With beast modes. And with some creative rettoling Hasbro could make Predaking, Abominus, and Piranacon all at once

Pfft. Unnecessary. they could just retool Titan Devy into Abominus, Superion into Piranacon and Menasor into Predaking. It would look just as good.

 

Not sure if trolling so i'll explain my idea
Razorclaw and Snaptrap could share a mold, with some springer/sandstorm levels of retooling. As both are quadrepeds with torso modes, and dual back mounted cannons.

Cutthroat, Divebomb, and Seawing could share a mold (new wings tail, and beast head for seawing)

Rippersnapper, Overbite, and Skalor could share a mold. Skalor would need a new thicker tail, shorter snouted beast head.

Headstrong, Tantrum, and Blot could share a mold. New heads bwteen the three, blot would get new beast arms and legs while adopting a bipedal stance

Sinnertwin and Rampage could share a mold, by simple switching out the beast heads and tails. And a Tentakill could be accomplished by using Sinnertwin as a base, and turning his heads, legs, and tails into tentacles. While sculpting the beast face onto the torso.

Hunn Gurr would need his own unique mold. But could easilly be redecoed into Doublecross, which would kickstart a Monsterbot combiner.

Nautilator could work as a Legends class figure/targetmaster for Piranacon.

 

I was kind of hoping it might of been about a new Tripredicus combiner for the upcoming Beast Wars 20th anniversary next year.

 

Wait, remind me, was Tripedicus the Predacon mariachi band?

 

In the Neo series.

In the American series, they were meant to be the members of the Tripredicus Council. Given the budget, they looked nothing like the toys on the show.

 

There is a rumor of a Predaking combiner.

It could happen, it'd fit well for a 2016 release. 30th anniversary of the characters and 20th anniversary of Beast Wars.

 

You should be working at Hasbro.

Now if we get Predaking, let's hope we get a proper Sky-Lynx to go with him.

 

I'm sure we'll get all the American Combiners considering CW is going into 2016.

It's just art differences. It's absolutely him.

 

Though if the Predacons end up being cars it'll be very, very lame. And a horrible, ironic reversal of Trukk Not Munky.

Voyager:
Wave1: Rampage and Hunn Gurr
Wave 2: Snaptrap and Doublecross

Sky Lynx i'd do as two Leader Class figures (shipped together in the same wave)
One being the Ground Transport "Lynx" the other being the Shuttle/pterosaur. Both would include thematically appropriate Minicons/Micromasters

Legends wave 1:
Undermine (cybertron character homage, becomes axe for Abominus)
Nautilator (becomes gun for Piranacon)
Diagnostic Drone (because beast machines could use a little love. Gun mode for whoever wants it)
Beachcomber

Legends wave 2
Cohradha (bw neo homage, becomes Sword for Predaking, idea borrowed from Digilaut)
Seaclamp (tripredacus homage, redeco of nautilator)

Save the Titan Class for an Omega Supreme.

 

But that is Dead End.

 

That design is so awful for Dead End.

But to echo some other points made in the thread, I can see Predaking sort of being retooled into Pirancron.

 

I kind of fail to see how that would work?
