I'm just glad it's still ahead of Transformers Animated. What that show did to the Dinobots was unforgivable.

Wow, Animated is catching up, almost even to G1!

And now, with episodes out, one can vote for RiD15 without being silly.

As long as G1, Beast Wars, and Animated are the three frontrunners, all is right in the world. The universe still makes sense. Doesn't matter what order those three are in as long as it is those three.

Animated and Beast Wars certainly deserve to be the top ones. Though honestly, I'm not sure which deserves the spot more. Both were amazing shows.

I have a feeling that after RID 2.0 is finished, this poll needs a new thread!!

What he means is that at the time the poll opened, it was too soon for anyone to realistically have any opinion of that show (although that did not stop some people with their magical future-predicting super-powers from preemptively declaring it the best ever :rolleyes2 ).

Those future-predicting folks were simply using the same time machine Michael Bay uses to go back and ruin childhoods.

Not to derail this thread, but how are the TFA Dinobots "exactly" like their G1 counterparts, aside from the fact that their alt modes are robotic dinosaurs? The two versions don't share a common genesis. TFA Dinobots were only a three bot team as compared to the five G1 Dinobots. Snarl/Slag/Whatever-you-call-him's bot mode looks nothing like his G1 namesake, or Snarl for that matter. The TFA Dinobots are far weaker than the G1 incarnation. G1 Dinobots could fight a combiner to a stand still while, on numerous occasions, the TFA Dinobots were physically overpowered by a single Autobot...or driven off by a little girl. All five of the G1 Dinobots could talk while of the TFA Dinobots only Grimlock appeared to speak. G1 Dinobots were engines of destruction, saving the Autobots when things got too hot, while TFA Dinobots seemed to exist only to trade on G1 nostalgia and to inject more tired comedic moments into their respective show. Last, but certainly not least, the G1 Dinobots were no one's pet, unlike in TFA where Snarl is seen playing fetch with a Constructicon.
