Ok, so in G1 Japan, it says that Oracle (Primacrons Assistant, or Primus) helped Primacron make Unicron. Unicron then rebelled, almost killed them both, and Oracle put his life force in a shell (The Matrix Of Leadership) to survive. He then found a dead planet, made it into an organic world, and laid there. Then the Quintessons come along, take his life force out of the Matrix, and transform Primus into Vector Sigma. They then use it to cyberform the planet, and made robots. Robots got sick of being treated like shit, and pushed the Quintessons off the planet. Now...here is where it gets interesting. Where does the core come into play? I have heard a rumor suggesting that when the Great War broke out, the planet was dying. Primus then somewhat merged with the core, to save the planet, splitting himself up into Vector Sigma, and becoming the planet. Think that could be the case? Anymore theories?

G1 appears to be present here.

It was established in Beast Machines that Cybertron was once organic.

Yeah, which makes sense. The only thing confusing, is how Primus/Vector Sigma merged with the core. The theory I proposed sound logical enough though. Any other ideas?

This is exactly like in IDW where the origins is a complete total mystery because of all of these different interpretations and ideas.

I like to think that in the G1 cartoon continuity, Cybertron and Unicron were both Quintesson inventions. Cybertron was built as a factory world, and the robots became sentient, right? Well, Unicron was built as a massive, experimental battle station, until he became sentient, too. It's just that simple. Perhaps the Matrix was left behind by the Quintessons once the Transformers revolted, and it was designed specifically as a kill code for Unicron.

Eh, fun theory. I like actual evidence personally, but that is a neat idea. I could see IDW doing something like this.
