So, my current assignment in Writing 121 is to do a research paper. It could be about anything, as long as their was a general question and legitimate sources. I figured, why not talk about my favorite series? I can definitely fill 8 pages with that. Thing is, I do need sources a college teacher would like. Things like quarterly reports, Hasbro documents, interviews with employees. I was wondering if anyone knew any cite-able sources like that I could use with my essay. Thank you.

You could look up Hasbro's annual reports on various finance sites, that would be a legitimate source. Beyond that, things like interviews on this website or Hasbro or the Hub's page, or things that are "official". I'd check with your teacher what sources they'll allow though.

The papers almost done, due wednesday. As far as I can tell, I've told the history accurately, but if anyone more educated on the franchises history could point out factual errors I've made, I would greatly appreciate it.

Use proper citation format. Does your teacher prefer MLA?

Yes, MLA is the required format, but I'm saving properly citing my sources until I'm entirely done, in case I find more useful citations later, so I can do the whole load at once. Funny thing is, the paper needing to be in MLA format caused me a bit of an issue. Didn't realize it needed to be double spaced until a after I completed the rough draft, which meant my 6 page rough draft was now 12 pages, needing to be reduced to 9 by the time of the final. I've managed to cut out a fair bit of padding I put in when I thought I would have trouble reaching the minimum pages!

First line, so on, so forth, "find himself" not "themselves". Only one person of reference at this point in the discussion. Unless he's multiple man or has mental issues.
If I read any further than that I'll wind up rewriting the whole thing and it's likely not to turn out any better for the effort.

Your college doesn't have a writing lab you can take this to? Maybe let some grad student plow through it with his red ink machete...?
