    I have always and still have Thrust as the Conehead commander.

    This because Ramjet and Dirge have similar shaped wings and thus profiles in jet mode. Having Thrust in the lead with these two similiar shaped jets flanking him, looks better to me than the other way around.

    (Plus G1 Thrust was my first seeker/conehead.)

    It depends on what continuity you are going by. If you went off the cartoon, and watched every conehead clip, you would easily deduce that Ramjet would be the de facto in charge.

    Dirge is the smartest.

    Plus in Target 2006 he was ordering the cone heads, Insecticons and Triple Chargers. Operation volcano was set up to kill 10 of the decepticons deadliest killers and he was leading them.

    plus dirge is the only seeker (G1 anyway) that is a herald of unicron.....
