    Yes. I've wondered if it's down to sheer laziness on the part of the posters (can't be bothered to actually read the forum FAQ), or if our system of "rewarding" people with news credits means they are hoping to get noticed if their post gets front-paged (meaning we have a measure of blame for these types of posts). You certainly see elements of the latter with the pointless "first" and "reserved" posts which have proliferated the last few years.

    Sorry for bumping this up once more on my part, but I'm glad someone is pointing that out. I'd guess FAQ's or whatever have the same effect on some people's eyes as magnets facing with the same polarity.
