Megamoonmans post made me laugh... but thats about it. Just think a little harder, take a bit more time and effort in to your work ConvoyPrime, and I'm sure you will make us laugh.

Your pics are, as we've said, too large. And be ready to retake the pics. I've done that myself. If you use Paint, put the text on the pictures. If you need help getting the link to show the pic itself here, try pics.xs.to, the image host I use.

We'll start with that and worry about the funny later.

We're trying to help you out, here. Don't feel too bad if this strip doesn't work out. I'm sure there have been a lot of other strips that didn't "make it".

keep trying and you will get better convoyprime. when you take pics of the figures, snap 1 or 2 more of the same shot in case one is not in focus, or your finger is in the way, etc. It also might be a good idea to see if your image editing software has a manual or some tutorials so you can learn how to use it better. The lack of these skills is making it hard for people to get into your comic strip. You need to work on getting a handle of the software first. You need to learn how to resize the pics so they aren't so large; you need to learn how to add text. Getting a handle on how to use the software is an important starting point in making your photocomics. Good luck and hang in there.

Just like everyone said, the pics are too large, too blurry, and very not funny. AS advised by the others, use Paint to decrease the size and add texts to them. Hopefuly that'll make them a bit less brutal to the world of comedy. We're all here to help, so don't be hesistant to ask. Best of luck to you ConvoyPrime :D

    Convoyprime:

Well, my first few comics here were done with a web cam, and were VERY blurry. I think you've got a better camera than that, judging by the image quality, but your lighting is too low. Take a couple of desk lamps and point them at your subject. They should be far enough away that they don't shine on the camera, or you'll get reflections and nasty stuff.

It's also a good idea to resize the pictures. THis will save you bandwidth on your image host as well. If you are a cheapskate like me you can use whatever your computer came with; if it's Windows, this will either be Picture Manager or Photo Editor. You can even use Paint to do this, although Paint's resizing doesn't seem very good for detail. I tried resizing some of your pictures to 320x240 and 640 x 480 and they look much better.

UltOp's word balloons are a good idea. You can draw them in Paint. You can also have the dialog below the picture for that 19th century political cartoon style that some of the FFEO comics use. If you want to give it that Marvel Comics flair you can use italics and boldface random words

Take a look at your local newspaper comics. It's not as easy as it would seem to make a gag work in the 3 to 5 panels they have. If you notice, most of them rehash the same jokes over and over again. GARFIELD and ANDY CAPP are probably the worst offenders in this regard. :)  But look at what the comic writers do -- it will help you figure out how to 'pace' your comic.

Yes, I was harsh and I apologize to convoyprime.

However, calling me a turd over two months later is lame.
