Hey guys my name is Emmet Brickowski, i was an an ordinary construction worker with no special qualities, until i met Wyldstyle (She's "tough as nails" and a crazy female fighter) who was searching for something after my construction site, i went to investigate cuz come on who wouldn't but as usual i fell into a hole and found something called the Piece of Resistance (A Stupid Name I Know) i picked it up thinking it was nothing, but it turned out to be something awesome, Wyldstyle told me i was "A Special" which i still don't know what that means but hey a hot girl called me special i met tons of knew people some good some bad and went on a crazy adventure to save Lego Land. My best friends are Benny and Robin, Wyldstyle hangs out with us but she's always on important "Missions" with her BLEEPING boyfriend Batman. A ton of us live in different parts of Lego Land, theres the Look-Out Tower where my teacher Vitruvius lives, a blind wizard that can see everything which is a huge contradiction. Then theres the Batcave which i don't think needs an explanation, the "Friends" a group of girls that live together (A guy's greatest dream), the Bionics, the Cloud Kingdom, the Sewers, The Shire, Skyland, Iacon, New York which harbors the Avengers and other heroes, The Legion of Doom, Tatooine, and Etc. we all live as a "Community" which is Bull because fights break out every day, but Welcome To Lego Land i hope you enjoy our awesome adventures full of Action, Comedy, Kick#$% Vehicles, Weird stuff, and Romance (which is really Grody)
Yeah...this really doesn't seem like any comic on this site...in a bad way. Not that the writing is bad, though. This just seems like the kinda stuff that should be posted in the comic promo thread. But as it stands, it isn't really a comic. Infact, the first post seems more like the bio for an RP blog than the opening to a comic.
Defiantly and the Constructo-bots Well this is an intro to the characters before the comics, the comic is going to be based around these characters so i put up the info before just to give you guys an idea how the characters will be for example you can tell Emmets a nice common guy while batman is full of himself, Emmet did set up the comic telling us about the Lego World and it's inhabitance, the comic will be about Lego, TF's, Skylanders, and other various characters. It maybe different but i don't know how it's bad, everyone has their ways and this is mine
Well, what UM is saying is that the style isn't a comic, the style so far is that of an RPG, like my comic opened with a brief info in the begin like yours, but the way it is done, gives off a comic feel.
I can understand where your coming from but right now Emmet is just basically explaining how the comic is going to be, the first episode should be put up by the end of the day
