How have I missed this comic until now? This really hits the funny bone in all the best ways More please?
It only took my entire day off, but I got the next one out early! It's short, but I figured it'd be better to kick things off now rather then spend another week with Prime monologue-ing to himself. Before I start on the next page I'm going to have to perfect a character design for, you know, one of the characters that came with the ship. Now I'm not the most familiar with the Funnies community, but the character that'll appear won't exactly be their "G1" self. It's really just in terms of design but, eh, If I get a backlash for how I picture the character then what happens happens. (I'm also starting to wonder whether questionable decisions was a proper title for this two parter, as now that I think about it, the REAL questionable decision comes in the second part.)
Well that's one way of getting more company. I'm curious to see who the character you're talking about is.
...Well that was a surprise. And don't worry, none of my characters even remotely resembles their Generation 1 Equivalents. Except Starscream. And possibly Megatron.
Sorry the art's so wibbly wobbly and off in terms of perspectives here and there. Also hands. I can't draw hands. I really don't have much of an excuse for it other than sometimes I have good days and sometimes I have bad days. I've also been a bit bitter lately because of reasons though I doubt that really has much if an affect on my work. But at least I can die knowing that I have managed to illustrate Ironhide hitchhiking. So yes, as I suppose y'all can tell by now, the bot that I was talking about in the last page was none other than Ironhide! I don't know if any of you saw, but a while back I made a thread titled 'best bud to Optimus Prime'. Well, I got quite a few "Ironhide!"'s and since I see him as a good bud to OP as well I decided he'd be the one to fit the roll. I knew I wanted him to have cannons and after writing some dialogue for him, found that he sounded more british than southern, and when I realized that I was basically aiming for a movie Ironhide, I made him... well, movie Ironhide. I think the look suits the kind of character I'm going for anyway, and the contrast in colours also looks good when putting him and Prime next to each other. Oh, and before anyone asks, the character that you don't recognize, is in fact an OC, made to take a certain role for this episode. There are two other "Generibots" in this though as for who they work for... Nah, I'm saying way too much. *Goes to sketch up designs for M-------, S---------, and S-------*
Okay, I'm gonna ask a very important question. Ironhide: British or Southern accent? I'm guessing British, but I can't be sure. I think I've got two out of the three blanks filled out in my head already. And panel six kills me.
In my head he's British, but it's not like he'll be saying anything stereo typically British any time soon so if anyone reads him as southern, be my guest. There is actually a fourth character I'm doing some sketches for, but since I think there is only one character that starts with THAT letter with THAT many spaces behind it, it really wouldn't be worth teasing, plus it would spoil what I have planned at the end of this episode.
I'm loving ironhide's design and coloration. And that was pretty funny! "What? Oh, some guy I guess." "Girl...."
I think it goes without saying that the first one will appear in SOME capacity. Still, for the sake of being sly I will neither confirm nor deny the other three...
Ugggghhh.... Sorry this is a week late... that's all. Been drawing up designs for some characters and bios including Prime, and some characters that will be appearing in like, pfft, 20 pages. So yeah... that's been taking up some time among other things. Anyways here we have OC 2/3, and Ironhide yelling which is always fun. Oh, and happy Valentines Day!
