I ended up making this in my free time, I wanted to make a Strip so I asked someone to name two characters for me and came up with Mirage and Sunstreaker. Please pardon the terrible Handwriting. If you haven't already noticed, I'm not much of a drawer.

Fixed the text with much experimenting with Gimp.

    ...

...I, uh... I'm not sure what to say about this one.

The joke's set up pretty well, though, and the expressions are priceless. I wouldn't mind another of these, actually.

The arts really good, and so is the joke. The only problem is it's a little tricky to read. Perhaps try adding the dialogue via photo editing software or other means next time?

This is pretty good actully only improvement I'd suggest is to consider digital type-setting instead of writing if you struggle either woth hand writing neatness or space management. In your case it's management of space but this is brilliant for a first funny.

Thanks, I've been thinking the same thing in terms of text, although I'm not sure what a good software would be for the job.

If you have a PC, just use Microsoft paint.

If you have a Mac, use Gimp or Comic life. (Though really, Gimp works for both computers, so...)

If you need something cheap and versitile use gimp as it's free. Not the easiest thing to understand at first but it will allow you to place text on several layers and make further edits if need be which is something Paint won't be effective for. Keep the hand drawing as it's a nice touch and if you have the paitince to draw then people will have the patince to wait. Also using drawn images you have more freedom and creativity availible to you especially with facial expressions and this can really help in delivery of a joke.

So I asked for two Characters to base the comic strip around and I got Bob, Gnaw, Cosmos, Brawl and Swindle, I decided to use all of them, plus Sunstreaker.

I have a confession, I started drawing the minute I got the names and had no idea where I'd go with it. For better or for worse. Ah well, Drawing Bob was fun at least.
Now the question is if the text is large enough...

Quick Doodle: It Stands to Reason

So- I don't know, here's a thing. I had three minutes of free time, so I-

Well aint that Prime? This is why I keep telling myself not to draw but...

Oh yeah, in case you're wondering, Optimus Prime's forehead crest, is in fact, long enough to go into outer space, I just ran out of paper.

Also giving Wheeljack the U-Jelly face was completely unintentional. I just like that sort of expression, also the lack of noses kind of made it that way whether I liked it or not.

But srs tho, is that not what they sound like or what?

    Needs more needless "epic" dialogue.

This really cracked me up! It reminds me of some artists who draw Batman with 6 foot tall bat ears on his headgear... Good to see someone else stepping into the drawn comics realm like Stonecrusher and Zombiebot! The styles and expressions really give the characters that extra something! My only complaint would be the small lettering, but that's minor...

Tou have the patiance to draw so even if you aren't happy witb your drawing, you can atleast improve. Most people don't have the pataince to draw so you're on a +1 even if everything else for some reason flops, and so far it hasn't.
