KA's Seeker Life 'finale'

Edit: ah, crap. i named the thread title wrongly. buzz if youre reading this, pls help change the title to Seeker High instead of Life?

i've had this idea for awhile actually, to end this series of strip, and got around to do it, what with CNY holidays and all. So i present you the finale episode(s) to "Seeker Life": Hung Out to Dry...Ice.

thanks for the kind words guys.

since this strip's run has ended, i'd to share my 'production notes' of the in jokes that came up as i wrote did them, in particular the 5 part finale:

-JFs line "thats how i roll" came up after watching anchorman. its jack black's line after he punted baxter over the bridge. i'm pretty sure he ad libbed that since that was a period movie XD

-i wanted to establish that JF and SS had some sort of rapport despite SS pissing off JF in previous episodes. the roxbury gag in the 2nd part makes so much sense: tall, goofy and just not getting it - JF = will ferrell. also, SS cant turn his head to do the gag, so i had to shoot him at an angle. stupid seeker molds.

-i love the "2 haddaways and a la bouche later..." line in the 3rd strip. these guys are on the roxbury soundtrack. no mercy didnt get a mention, but the song is playing in the same panel. also, love the idea of self-defeating tech specs. "advance technology yadaa yadaa"? what kind of crap is that?

-part 5: these are actually in continuity with g1! SS = jerk. also, i had to make up that cartoon screencap. there wasnt any single scene with SS while JF/SF in ice, so the in ice effect was made up.

i'm just glad to finish these after procrastinizing on these strips for so long. now i can get back to my destro-shockwave art commision, finishing my ARC kit and my ark diorama project.
