That was sad that Syncro found his Green Lady dead.

Time loops + Reincarnation = Tragedy.

The Serpent, Tsugaru, Sideswipe... they're all part of a loop. Being reborn in part, looping through time in part, and part trapped forever in the Green Forest in a gigantic self-fulfilling paradox.

I think Stellite understands, though I'm not sure she realizes that she's part of it too. That's why she keeps popping up.

Wheeljack was wrong.

That IS her sword.

 

To best sum this tragedy of a story up in three words: history repeats itself. And people wonder why loops royally suck.

On the bright side, the 12-21-2012 Doomsday was a complete and utter dud. It was only the end of the 13th Cycle and the beginning of the 14th, and everybody in Mexico celebrated the new Cycle, while others waited for the end like the despairing pessimists they are. While the nuts at France waited for the UFOs to emerge and give them an EVAC and China prepped the mini-shelters, everyone in Mexico dressed up as Mayans, recreated the celebrations of old, and spun the calendar one cycle.

There's always next b'ak'tun though, Kezeroth and all ya doomsday nuts. There's always... next... b'ak'tun.

Merry Christmas! Above see a life-sized cardboard cutout of Halconfenix's custom DJ Tsugaru (more or less, mostly less), presiding over the front hall, at a Christmas cosplay dance, sponsored by my anime club, and the local convention group.

See, a few months back, I thought that this town needed an anime club, so I started one. We meet once a month at a comic shop's game room. It's been fun. After a while, we hooked up with the local convention organizers, and the upshot was, about four weeks before Christmas, we decided to throw an anime dance party, as a fundraiser, and a fun thing to do.

We managed to pull it together in just over 2 weeks, with only 1 real week of promotion:

People had fun, and it made some money for the clubs, but unfortunately it took some time and effort to get together, and Operation MAGI got shortchanged...so there won't be a real Christmas special this year. Of course, last year's has wrapped right around to this one, and practically everybody who habitually participates is already in it...but I'll go through the posts one more time before the upcoming semi-finale, and throw in anybody else who reported. Sorry for not being on the ball, because of the ball.

You may get your chance, if you brought any lead pipes back from that mission to DP Country...

Merry Christmas to you and your family  . Haven't commented so much recently, but still following along with each update and really enjoying the story.

I am still amazed at the amount of effort that goes into this for each update. Very well written and put together. I don't think anyone can or would be upset about this.

Hmmmm indeed that much was to be guessed about the Serpent. Bein' specialized in the dreadful ways of Hope Spots.

Now then, was this either a warning from even trying and we should all go and be weeping and go emo or was that givin' some info that may lead to the solution yet?

 

 

Thanks goodness for that kleenex concession I have. Popcorn and kleenex, that's something the White Serpent doesn't have.
And another thing...Do you know the power of ONE ticked-off mom? There are two angry, ticked-off Mommy Cons. Heh...

 

To Paraphrase a pirate captain, and to sum up our situation with the White Sleaze...

You can always rely
On a dishonest man
To do what his self-preservation commands

But an Honest guy
You cannot rely
To never do something that might...

Be... Stupid.

I dare, alright. I dare to believe that we can win the fight, by embracing the stupidity of our situation and using it!
How do you fight a being whose dishonesty is the stuff of legends? I say honesty wins the day.


That, and a ghostly army bent on vengeance against a monster of untold power, the arsenal of which contains several super-modes and tactical nukes.

I'm waiting to see what our devious li'l chilluns managed to pull off without us...after all, they did come up with and execute their own plan which screwed up ours...
